Yeh always dismiss.
The funny thing is that, its people like this CMDR and others like him that probably argue the loudest against the idea of a PVE server, yet this kind of behaviour only strenghens the resolve of the ED community to damand a PVE server even more.
or at least a fleshed out Crime and punishement / Karma system.
Has anyone tried holding Meta Alloys, Fish, Onionhead, or other cargo when scanning the non-reactive obelisks? Perhaps it takes some outside influence brought to the site.
Picts coming shortly.
By pointing out that it is a human centric unit of measurement, but you got the year/day mixed up.
But the speed of light in a vacuum itself is a constant and could be used as a universal measurment between alien species if a more universal measurment of time was chosen... for example the Galactic year (although probably to long).
Just a quick reminder folks, no matter how annoyed you are, naming and shaming is not allowed on the forums.
Thanks awfully
If anyone else has some input on this would appreciate ithttps://forums.frontier.co.uk/showt...ks-never-reset-in-solo-alone-in-private-group (obelisks not resetting after 1 use in solo)
VERY interesting!
I'd been relogging to reset the obelisks, which means any pattern data you collect is effectively invalidated. If the obelisks reset after a certain period of time that makes things much more usable. You can use the results of one scan to make the next guess, etc.
