Thats where tastes are coming it the picture. Entirely up to you.

But to use boiling hot water, and some crappy filter and call it a good tea? That's a death of me. Or yours, if im in foul mood. :D

Yep, a bad cup of tea results in my kids running for the hills and a suspiciously high number of forum bannings.

And the panic when the milk is low at home... I really am obsessed with tea.

Excellent poll. Option 3 obviously :)D)

Yep :D

And whats with all these fruit based "Teas" THEY ARE NOT TEA!!! They are just Hot Ribena...

And there's nothing better than sneaking into a greasy spoon and having a full English with a brew...

Damn I'm hungry now...

Well... there are the bad leaves, and good filters, but still? This is where a tea lover separated from the tea drinker. The rest of it? About taste.

True, im cool with flavored teas, fruit flavor including, but if there is only fruit on it, that's not tea!

I don't like tea.

There, I typed it. I don't think I'm actually British. To me it either tastes slightly of chlorine, or perfume (Earl Grey) or like licking someone's knees (roibosch), or like water (all fruit teas).

Beer ftw.

Yuuck! :D I bet you did not even place some lemon or anything else in it to stop spoil it.

But black? Yeah... If there is something i must give the russians is how they drink the tea? If the spoon remains standing in the middle, than it's strong enough, and probably capable to resurrect the death too...
Cup?

KEG!

Rooibos tea? that's good. But not tea tea. Strictly speaking about that i'd prefer with lemon + sugar. sometimes without additive. The english just as i stated above is way too weak to my taste. Black or green? Mood dependent. In back Earl Grey Or in green jazmine, or gunpowder

I'm not Russian, but I do like me some punchy black tea. Preferably cold :D
For a proper hot cup I take green tea. No sugar.

P.S. What is this poll? Where's my "no milk, I'm not trying to make a cereal" option?

LULZ! :DDD

However iced tea is very good also. Mainly in summer

I can give you that. But for christ sake, don't mix up the the tea flavored soft drink what we call ice tea and a properly made than cooled down tea. Two different category.

Yeah You are a fake Scottish. :D

I prefer my tea without milk, thank you. But I'm more into green tea anyway. Though I enjoy the occasional tea, Earl Grey, hot.

If you're brewing your tea in a cup, adding milk while the teabag is still in should be a capital offense.

[mad]

EDIT: I have real problems in those bloody coffee outlets that are the only places to get hot drinks in stations, etc.

Ah extra strong, extra sugar and a wee touch of milk...nectar of the gods.

Unless its herbal tea in which case its made in a different way...its also illegal because of the active ingredient but however, thats natures medicine.

The first example fixes the mind, the second fixes everything else ^

The British Empire was built on tea.

A secret to a content life. Never run out of tea.

I am a bit of an addict myself; between the the caffeine and sugar fix, nothing else quite reaches the spot.

I spilt a cup once and have never forgiven myself.

Actually, I was in the US a few years back...brought my own tea bags to the bemusement of the customs who were curious as to the contents of said bags. I explained that if they hadnt had their little rebellion and kicked the brits out, he wouldnt be confused as to what he was looking at.

The tea they serve over there isnt really tea...it tastes like recycled dish water...no wonder they always killing each other. If my tea tasted like that here, I wouldnt be overly happy either.

Americans ^

Something is very wrong here.

Tea; should be made in a pre-heated teapot. Therefore; the milk goes into the cup first.
