Just scanned B1 with O+U - no result but reward went up by 1M so I guess it's correct but must already have the relevant data. I've not seen B1 on the pic or spreadsheet I'm looking at.
games done a CTD so going back in now. ( I was in Mobuis PVE ).

Scanned E13 with O+Ta and got another 1M - again no new data so I guess I already had it. - also not in the diagram or spreadsheet

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.

I had a tin foil theory, please tell me if anyone has thought of this before and came up with no answer:

After recent revelations from MB that we are not meant to see more than 13 data packets and reading the Culture 12 text (that we shouldn't be able to see at this point)

This is truely fascinating data commander, as an engineer myself I have to admit I'm highly curious about the Guardians technology. It seems that the guardians had a particular fascination with geometric shapes, which they used to illustrate connections between themselves and the world around them. This predilection manifested itself in their technology as well - specifically their monolith network. With this data and the help of the galactic community we've partially mapped the monolith network, which formed the backbone of their communications technology, and discovered that they too are arranged in geometric patterns. Whilst this does not give us full access to the network, I believe it is the first step to unlocking the entire system and maybe more

So lets assume that the ruins themselves are a representation of the surroundings of the guardians. With the larger circular area to be the planet (Synuefe XR-H D11-102 1B) and the smaller one to be another body, for this example lets say it's the moon. (Bear in mind I'm just using these as an example, not suggesting that they are what the represent (though if they are, awesome!))

Now what if the beacons are representative of the location of the ruins on the planets surface, with beacon 1 in the southern and western hemispheres. lets ignore the B2 and B3 beacons for now and speculate that by the position of Beacon 4 in the smaller circular area, that another set of ruin may be located in the south eastern hemisphere, but much further south.

I am aware that i haven't taken any of the other geometric shapes in to account here, I'm working on seeing how they would fit in with the theory and of course how the location of the other beacons could fit in. At the moment I'm just throwing the idea out there. It may be too simple a theory but it seems to fit so far.

There is a delay in response from RAH, I've gotten positive feedback long after a scan, it's why the advice is to check transactions after scan.

Hello everyone and forgive me for changing the subject but I want to make a remark on Alien Hyperdictions. On the first page, it is assumed that the alien ship scans us and then leaves, for some reason. My point of view is a bit different;

I don't believe that an alien ship, that advanced, has so flashy and noisy scanning apparatus. To me is clear that it is charging its biggest gun to perform a one-shot execute move on us, till the moment it sees/senses/discovers/realizes something, and decides to run away.

Is it a guardian ship right behind us? Have the leftovers of a UA/UP contact made them believe that we have some of their own kind on board?

I don't know. But that sequence certainly doesn't look like a scan to me.

I got to the antipodes, 31.7877, 51.0289. Nothing here so far, but, it does look similar to the area around the ruins so i'm gonna have a look around.

I may join you there later this evening (US Eastern time). I'm curious about that myself. Two sets of eyes and all that. BTW, same commander name as here. If you see me, please don't shoot! :D

Haven't had the experience myself, but based on the dozens of youtube videos on it, it looks like a scan, albeit a very powerful one. Note that there's no damage to your ship, cargo is intact (at least as far as I've been lead to believe based on what I've read so far), and from what I've seen, it's just FD's way of announcing "They" have arrived. Also notice that there's a short time between the power coming back up and the time the alien ship leaves the area where you can sort of interact with it. You can either scan it or shoot at it. I believe it was mentioned that our early interactions with them would determine their future interactions with us. It's more an "experience" than an attack.

I know most of you are currently busy with the ruins and i don't wanna cause any panic.. but.. hyperdictions are getting serious!

The last reported ones are now only 163ly from Sol, that's right in our beloved bubble!!!

So, everyone who needs a rest from scanning obelisks, please try to gather more data from hyperdictions and report them to Volgrands sheet:

We need to be prepared!

Lol. What if it is their most powerful weapon and it simply has no effect on us, Then they are all like, "OH GAWD, RUN AWAY!!"

That is why I said that it charges for an attack, but before it is unleashed to us, it senses something that make it stop and leave. Anyway, I might be totally wrong on this but I dont think its a scan.

I'm also beginning to doubt that its just a scan. Whats irritating me are the "particles" that it seems to suck in from our ship.. That does not look like a normal scan to me..
Maybe its a giant space maiden, cleaning our ships :)

Looking for mynocks, maybe? Damn things, always chewing on the power cables...

Then again, you might be on to something there. After all, don't sharks go to certain locations and have the little fish clean them off?

Well, keep in mind that this is a scripted event. It's the same experience for everyone so it's not seeing something 'odd' in your ship and doing something different than it would normally do. At least, not until the script is changed. THEN worry.

Well, my windscreen definitely needs some cleaning, will leave an UA as tip!

I may not be the first but I just noticed that if you zoom in on an ancient relic close enough in the classified camera mode, you can see that there is a glyph engraved into the relic's surface. sorry no pics, I'm not allowed to post them yet so check it out for yourselves. :)

Currently flying along the 189 degree mark, starting at the Ruins. Since I have nothing else to do :D if someone wants to join, send me a message. Cmdr Glastinghouse ingame

We are curently on the ruins but yes we need to know where the list is so we can see where in the bubble... i wonder if they are still related to the ruins and that as they happen inside the bubble if they are either mounting an attack or if their next site is in the bubble somewhere
