Interesting....that planet is the location of the beacon, but not the rally point.
True, but interesting nonetheless. Hopefully Gypsy will bring light on the light.

It makes it awkward as I found my asp cannot maintain altitude when inverted for a better view at the g level. I have 4D thrusters with g3 dirty drives, anyone know if stronger thrusters would prevent this?
I wonder if Drew would be up for giving us a little help with these especially big planets?
C'mon we haven't really tried hard enough yet, lets wait a week before we start begging![]()
HOW TO FIND IT:
TRAVEL TO BEACON.
LINE UP WITH CENTRE OF PLANET AS BEST AS YOU CAN. HIT SC.
LIGHT WILL BECOME VISIBLE AT 10.5k

Ok... Now I can see surface detail... And... This is no mountain.
Observe the two volcanoes...

Try taking a super-hires screenshot with ALT-F10 in Solo and see if you can crop that area and magnify it.
Yes I knowI just killed my ship and went to bubble to get faster thrusters and got back to Hawking's Gap this morning. I do not want any hints now, I want to put some effort into finding another one and feel that I achieved something.
