I blame the 34th Century education system. Considering all the constant mistakes in Galnet (especially in the early days), mission text and NPC quotes, misspellings are accepted as the "Norm" in 3302. And think about it: why wouldn't they be? Look at common communication on Facebook and Twitter in the 21st century. Things are bound to get worse
Ok Ok.. Stop whining. Everything looks exactly like I left it. Only hope I can find it again! On the way.
O carp, you left?
Was just gonna suggest you try looking at it with varying resolutions and graphics and rendering settings, even a different video card if you have one.
I assume you're bumped right up to the exclusion limit to look at it and have approached from different angles?
I chased after what appeared to be bomb blast damage on an atmosphereless terrestrial ammonia world once upon a time which if I recall probably turned out to be a rendering thing.
Currently not finding bases in hawkins. My protocol: Most notable features first then craters and canyons in general, then not-canyons and not-craters or mountains and rifts, last the center of featureless of most featureless before brute force of flying lines of latitude and not longitude because you get overlap at the poles and widening gaps of no coverage towards the equators. Plus only got a few hours a day for this right now.
Maybe start by turning off single rendering features like ocular occlusions or shadows or reflections,,,just to see if a single switch will turn it off and on?
