One more, The Breadbin: CMDR Braben. Also known as DBOBE, as he's an officer of the Order of the British Empire.

Okay, so we've got Carnivore, Vegetarian, and Omnivore..... but what's the term for someone who inexplicably tends to scan every..... single..... body in every system, under the premise "well, nobody else is going to scan this worthless clump of ice rocks... ever.... so I guess it needs to be me...."

Asking for a friend.... [uhh]

selfish - those that scan everything
lazy - those that don't scan everything
annoying - those that come to the forum to tell us about it :D

there we go, 3 new terms for our collection of exploterminology - j/k ofc :)

edit: doing a Krollin - performing a sub-optimal landing maneuver, made immortal by CMDR Krollin who did this at one of the base camps during the DWE:

That is awesome. Especially because his name is similar to rolling. Its the Leroy Jenkins of ED. LOL

I can't stop laughing at that.....

The beauty of it is that it's both a horrible landing and also manages to avoid destroying any of the other ships.

Gee, I remember that moment!

Ref. Braben: you can call him Briben when you err... fund a feature you want to see in the game ;)

What? I don't understand.

Breadbin pronounced like Braben, I suppose.

DBOBE, for David Braben Order (of the) British Empire

It's a nonsense - we don't even make these guys go to foreign places and nick all their stuff, much less fight on horses with sticks, disgraceful! - but we should push to get him promoted, as I believe the next level up is Commander of the British Empire, which would be entirely appropriate.

Bonus points for anyone who can find the British Empire on a map. :D

That is because gentlemen do not go to foreign places and nick all their stuff, nor fight on horses with sticks. Gentlemen hire other people to go to foreign places and nick all their stuff for them, or go out and fight for them on horses with sticks. Or, in The Breadbin's case, convince all these people, both foreign and domestic, to shell out good money for the right to virtually go to foreign star systems and nick stuff and fight in spacecraft with lasers and cannon. :)

As for the British Empire... well, the sun hasn't technically set on the Empire yet... technically, anyway...
