Which one cant do in ingame galnet, which further reinforces the point about ED being more of a browser-forum game...

Anyhow, not sure if it has been mentioned, but when viewed from the "bottom" of the galaxy (i.e. when when putting camera under galactic plane and looking up), new systems roughly repeat pattern of monolith locations in our known ruins (please note, that it was not my intent to align map screenshot perfectly, but rather to roughly illustrate my observation)

Assuming for a moment that these line up with tower relics, that would be incredibly obscure, the galaxy map can be viewed in a 360 sphere, was/is there a reference at the site that might indicate the angle to view galaxy from? if not, then the positioning of the tower relics become meaningless.

Does that provide a URL to link to? Size adjustment?

Never heard of before and sounds simpler

Dunno, never tested. But the simple image URL should be enough.

For a further reference to original ruins, (in case of there being some puzzle after all), and assuming that newly announced systems indeed correlate wtih monolith placement, then:

"Beacons with ancient relics"
B1 = Synuefe XO-P c22-17
B2 = IC 2391 Sector GW-V b2-4
B3 = IC 2391 Sector ZE-A d101
B4 = Synuefe XR-H D11-102 (current ruins)

That leaves Synuefe ZL-J d10-119 "outside" the pattern.
Also, it might be worth analyzing ruins construction around B1 and B4, because it might give us a hint which planet in Synuefe XO-P c22-17 contain ruins.

Note, all that is a very preliminary theories, so should be taken with a grain of salt

hummmm interesting, i have a feeling that the next site is the one i ringed in red, take a look the the 2 images, the one on the left is the obelisks at the site in yellow the blue bits are the relics on the pole things, the one i ringed is the one on the big platform and has 1 side missing, could be this is the next system to check?

Would be handy to see that with all 5 systems marked, then overlayed on the ruins site.

Ram Tah has asked us to search these locations for further Alien Ruins :

Synuefe ZL-J d10-119
Synuefe XO-P c22-17
IC 2391 Sector ZE-A d101
IC 2391 Sector GW-V b2-4

" -- a number of further Guardian sites"

.

15 min after the 'quick' restart and server status says "ok". System is back up and running.
Based on what I've read so far, heading to SYNUEFE XO-P c22-17.
Same commander name as here.

In other cases I would have completely agreed with you, but in this case camera lays flat on the bottom of the "galaxy box". In other words, if you imagine a cube, and then put a camera on the bottom of it pointing directly upwards (at least as much as ingame camera allows for that - there is still a small angle I belive), then you will get the picture. Now, I am not stating that "here, I solved it!!!" or anything, just shared my observations.

For those curios of the system/relic lineup, with the seemingly outlying system included. Galaxy map picture taken from below to make the connection easier

I don't suppose anyone ever saw anything at the point in the original ruins where the ZL-J system is? And it could just as well be that the similarities between the relic and system lineup are entirely coincidental.

Sadly the flat area I landed at turned out to be nothing. Although, the cell I was referring to did take quite a long time to load and there was a sound very similar to the singing at the known ruins but it stopped the second the cell loaded, too quick for me to record.

Side note, if any xbox players encounter me in game, say hi, cmdr name is: RAZE6114

My interpretation of your findings is that if you project a triangle from 102, you can reach these other systems. The one that matches the large mound is the best canditate wich would be Synuefe XO-P c22-17.

What are the distances between all this systems? Maybe @Mengy could help us with matching the site measures.
