What with all the avatar editors and the in-game-lore-stores it's no wonder they never got around to making a proper surface scanner ... by 3301
What part of 'In Game' are you failing to understand?
does anyone have system screenshots of the 4 systems? i need them to check something
Also, has anyone been back to Meene since the restarts? Wonder if the mission comes back differently
im en route... moon is a must have. and if we have no tool for good scanning why not start by the same coordinates arenged for geometric like -30 and -129
good luck CMDR's
Those coordinates were already checked by several CMDRs on several bodies as you can see here.
Feel free to pick one that has not being checked and make your way there, CMDR.
Basing off of similarities and distinct qualities of the current site I used EDSM to look at the listed sites. I looked for bodies with a Orbital period and rotational period opposite each other and if possible a moon.
My theory is that the orbital period and rotational period makes it easier to "align" the monolith network with its galactic neighbors
I've compiled everything into one post here

None in this system have the odd orbital period/rotation but there's only 1 landable body that has a moon

Wont hurt for them to be re-visited once the server re-starts are done and dusted.
Another Pic of all 4 New Systems in the Nightsky as seen from the Original Ruins looking up. Maybe it Helps someone figure smth out

Is there an optimal altitude to fly over a planet to find the ruins?
You are right, CMDR. I only fear of having several CMDRs flying to check the same spot and we loose tracking.
Would be better if the ones that checked them before, execute the re-check.

This one is even better, CMDR!
I wonder if they change when a different set of beacons are activated.
Correct! Photoshopped them together, to see them all at once
I dont realize why are you searching similarities between old site and new sites... I can understand temperature or material but moon or no moon, rings... why?
He wants to track wich one he missed. Now he can compare the sheet with his inbox. Problem solved. No need to talk like that. No rep for you.
