Alien archeology and other mysteries: Thread 9 - The Canonn

Basing off of similarities and distinct qualities of the current site I used EDSM to look at the listed sites. I looked for bodies with a Orbital period and rotational period opposite each other and if possible a moon.

My theory is that the orbital period and rotational period makes it easier to "align" the monolith network with its galactic neighbors

I've compiled everything into one post here

Synuefe ZL-J d10-119
https://www.edsm.net/en/system/id/8850999/name/Synuefe+ZL-J+d10-119
Star Class:F

Body of interest
Synuefe ZL-J d10-119 13 c - https://www.edsm.net/en/system/bodi...s/idB/1709550/nameB/Synuefe+ZL-J+d10-119+13+c

Orbital period: 3.7
Rotational period: -3.7
Moon: Yes

13c is non landable.

An amusing thought

There are probably about 100 billion planets to explore. If miraculously we were able to somehow search one per second. Will take someone 3000 years or so.

Wouldn't it be cool if activating a beacon at the site, caused something to activate in one of the systems... Something to highlight the location... We can dream

Oh for god's sake... its only been a few hours. They told us the system, I really doubt they should give us more hints.

Who was asking for hints?

We have had -

A confirmed bug with the existing ruins
Frontier re-arranged the "old" ruins site
The existing ruins discovered before it was supposed to be by sheer luck and brute force

I think we need confirmation from Frontier that there is actually a scientific puzzle here to be solved or if we are to be spoon fed breadcrumbs at various points over the next few weeks.

I think the gravity of the landable planets should also be taken into consideration. If the Gardians lived on those sites, then they probably have similar living conditions. A big change in gravity would be difficult for them to adapt to.

I think it's hilarious that the only real exploration tools FDev have given us are the crashes we know are going to happen once we find the planet hosting the ruins.

Game crashes, more reliable exploring tools than the tools built in to the game. way to gamedev, fdev.

The thing the person is not taking into account is the fact that once light interacts any other atom, medium, or gravity that the vector has been modified. Its no longer on its original path and to reach its source it will have to been slowed down. Otherwise light would obliterate everything in its path.

And after how many interactions will the light have come to an (almost) stand stil? If it slows down after an interaction, it should slow down after -every- interaction, whatever that 'interaction' may be.

I gotta agree at this point

Ugh, just accidentally handed the ancient ruins "get the data" cultural/historical/etc mission in. :(

Landed at Meene, go to missions to hand in the *other* Rah Tah mission and the data CG mission pops up first.

Every hand in the mission screen has a "complete" button but no not this one, it just automatically hands in and that's it mission over. =/

And this with the existence of a load of new sites just revealed.

Does anyone know, is it possible to reactivate this mission?

maybe its help.

system with a lot of star make a triangle + - same distance from ruins 1 and synuefe ZL J d10 199.
maybe this triangle is a reflector / network node.

in that way i re check trailer.... and its appear synuefe ZL J d10 199 have gaz giant and maybe in other system ( triangle/node) maybe kind vessel like trailer too

http://imgur.com/zdkJkdC

im make my way with this feeling and go on synuefe ZL J d10 199 , in a planet who have geyser and view on giant gaz

EDIT : just checked my system map and one planet turn on herself !!!!!! that second from gaz giant ( like jupiter) !!!! its 11B

redock.

Cynical me here...the CG's, messages are drawing more and more pilots into this area of space, and then herding them into just a few specific locations to maximize the number of pilots for when ever and what ever the big reveal is.

Damn, are we all being goaded into a big load test of the net code? :)
