Because changes were made. If the sequence didn't matter, xdeath going out of order would have caused 0 changes. But he did and it did, my question and hypothesis is; why did that cause changes? And i think it's because there IS an order and it's telling us how to go back and forward instead of just forward.
I agree in part. Part of me wonders if we were meant to discover the ruins (current ones) first. It was always FD's intention this was a breadcrumb trail style quest. Were the ruins we discovered not ready (not setup properly?) and some other ruins were? If that's the case were the ruins transposed from one planet to another to facilitate the fact we discovered the current one hence the changes in both layout and design (we seem to have lost a lot of surface detail since the update in the ruins)?
We are all hypothesising and making assumptions off the back of zero evidence. FD are starting this again and we are now back on track as far they are concerned assuming the second + ruins are actually there?
