Men, I started the surface exploration with a lot of hope and full of energy and after 8 hours i am like:

i am going to crash my Asp on the ground and make a POI of it...

!!!WARNING!!! RAGE DETECTED !!!WARNING!!!

It's a titanic work and we are searching with one tool, our eyes.
My god Frontier, we have FSD's and this amazing ships and:
WE HAVE TO SEARCH A GOD DAMM RUIN THAT CANNOT BE SEEN UNLESS U ARE 7 KM AWAY FROM IT WITH OUR EYES???

Ok i'm done... Idk, put a big POI or a extrange signal source or whatever. I love exploring but men, with our eyes?? pls no.
The same happened with the barnacles but at least they shine...
I know that this rage will fade and i'm going to continue searching but i hate this, totally hate this """"amazing new exciting missions"""".

I only ask u for one thing Frontier, let us a tool for find this easier, bcs it's the same as the Formidine Rift,
a enigmatic mystery that is in the game since the start and...
AND NO ONE COULD FIND IT BCS IS IN A LOST SYSTEM THAT IS NEITHER IN THE GALAXY MAP.

Ok rage out, going back to my Asp... Fly saf... this time no, it's better: Maintain your sanity Commanders... or try to...[wacko][rolleyes]

Though they aren't one in each system. 3 are in Synuefe XO-P C22-17 and one is in Synuefe ZL-J D10-119.
(It you're talking about the counter-clockwise thing. Otherwise I missed something)

This is correct. I also believe that all of them have the same rotation and orbit period.

This probably means that these are planets that used to be ridally locked, but a force have flipped them upside down or sideways.

This could be a crash or a close passage of another planet.

im on 11b of the 119 system. Gonna take a quick break and nap then resume searching for stuff while my eyeballs bleed from the strain.

I'm in the same boat here.. When the news of the 4 solar systems came up, I was like "I hope I can make it home from work in time before they are found".

Now, after 10 or so hours looking at one planet, I'm out.

...or done deliberately by the Guardians. If so they had some immense power at their disposal.

Or an alien race that over used their huge, and I mean HUGE mass drivers/launchers...Newtons laws of motion and all that...

what sound? I have listened to all the videos provided and all I can hear is the background ambiance. There are times when you hear voices singing and times you dont. The volume of the voice section raises and lowers at a measurable interval. Direction doesnt effect it. It plays in a loop.

If there is another sound I just cant hear it in the videos. I know we have some audio geniuses here is anyone able to isolate that sound so I can tell. Its either that or every planet I have been on at this system has ruins on them.

The sound described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XCqTgqo-NHE

It is not the usual planet ambience, and gets louder as one approaches.

Who knows maybe this was planned. When we all fail the mission Ram Tah gave us, perhaps FDEV will have Ram Tah become and active Engineer and he could upgrade our scanners. Scanners to do the precise things that we wished for.

Trying to be optimistic.

When I sleep I dream in beige.

Can we fail his mission? I accidentally turned in my original scans, left the system and then returned to Felice Dock. The mission was returned to my Inbox and the timer had reset to 4 weeks... unless this is a bug it would seem I could keep extending my time limit by turning in what I have and starting again.

I'm glad I'm working away, I foolishly wished I was at home so I could join the search..
Then sanity quickly reminded me we are effectively looking for a single barnacle on a water world! With no tools other than our eyes it's such a ridiculous scenario. I feel you pain, someone at FD must be laughing their elite socks off!
Let's face it, no sain human would undertake such a fruitless task. Like putting a person in a circle and asking them to sit in the corner whilst pointing and laughing at how gullible they are.
So I'm glad I never got suckered.
Shameful FD

I came across a POI on one of the moons in ZE-A, C 3 A I think. It was a crashed ship. Not much left but 6 escape pods and the black box.

I picked up the pods and then cracked open the black box hoping to get a clue to the cause of the crash. According to the flight computer, the pilot apparently just flew the ship into the ground. The Captain's Log stated they had been searching for ancient ruins for 2 days. I listened to the cockpit voice recorder for the last few seconds before the crash, and the horrifying truth was revealed. I heard snoring.

Fly safe commanders.

To be fair...multiple barnicles on multiple water worlds, though we don't know how many, or on what worlds...

Any thing come of the glitch I posted?

I wish my girlfriend would let me play ED, but it's hard to justify it half the time, even more so when she's like "What would you rather do? Spend time with me when I've been at work all day, or slowly fly over a seemingly endless beige planet looking for an alien ruins that may or may not be there?"

Lol

I lie. She doesn't even know I play ED at all. :D
