What Profession are you?

I thought it would be neat to see what percentage of each profession the player base classifies themselves as! Please only pick two Main jobs. Even if you sometimes do the mining thing or pirate, pick the things you do the most often!

Military... were such thing to exist. Playing the BGS is as close as you can get while the rank system remains mostly cosmetic.

Though most people's gameplay usually, I would think, be covered by two of those categories. Even miners probably spend a lot of time doing something else, even if it's just plain trading, just to mix things up a bit and to do missions (there's no mining missions IIRC).

Anyone doing more than two would probably be so spread there's not really a "profession" apart from space cowboy.

I make my living as a highway man, but when my fishing hole dries up, I'll work for the highest bidder until I locate another spot.

Usually pve, since most of the goods that players haul just aren't worth the time/effort compared to low temp diamonds. It'd be nice to find modular terminals in NPC cargo holds, but I guess that's why I'm also a sellsword.

Heh. Too late for me, already voted. Just another trader addition. Trade to places I've never been if I can, and then find where I cant rade what I get there.

Therefore, I guess, also exploring, but that's more a hobby than a profession.

I picked trader/miner because those are 2 of my 3 main professions, but OP didn't have one major time-profession on his otherwise fairly complete list --> PVE Missions runner

He had combat missions occupation, but no PVE missions (fetch this, deliver that, data courier, etc). I prob spend 50% time doing that, 25% bulk trader, 25% miner.

But I wouldn't include that, since you take whatever mission makes enough. Your profession is better served with what do you do when you don't have someone telling you what to do (missions or community goals). Because if a mission comes up for trade and it pays well and quick, you take it. that doesn't make you a trader, though, unless you like to go round trading as the default job.

That's how I chose, anyway. Because frankly there's no way or need to work out how much each mission takes in each category listed, so they're none of them.

Really? Aww, man...i have to choose... Well, i guess Exploring and PvE Bounty Hunting are the main things i like to do. At the moment especially Bounty hunting, since i've got the python...it's just huge fun, being able to blow pretty much everything out of space. (But i wouldn't even dare to think about PvP - i've thought about "grinding" to G5 Engineering stuff, but i think G4 is enough for me and it doesn't take hours and hours of looking through USS's)

As multipurpose as my Python. The only missions I don't tend to do many of are the only missions in the poll though (Combat)
