Seems like a fair deal to me.
All jokes aside Comets belonged in this game yesterday. And if something exists inside of our galaxy in reality than I feel Frontier is under an obligation to simulate it inside this game. We have darn near every Celestial body that you could name. Except Comets. I mean we have Aliens but not comets? I have looked at comets with my own eyes! I would really like to get a closer view. And I am sure I am not alone in this.

I remember them being added all the way back in Beta or Gamma I think. And I remember one of the devs (Braben maybe?) saying the only reason they aren't there is they haven't come up with game mechanics for them, so they haven't bothered building the art assets to make them visible. But the Stellar Forge actually does simulate them and they exist in the background. You just can't see them in the game.

Sounds like a bunch of excuses to me. If we can't see them or interact with them in game than they don't exist in game... "They can't think of any mechanics" Well than they are failing at their jobs if they haven't come up with something by now. We just want to land on them. Perhaps mine their asteroid trail. I don't understand what could possibly be stopping them from figuring this out.

What about passenger jettisons? What about expensive fake-ids you can buy, so that the only way you can mode-swap to stack missions is by entering a new id you paid a million dollars for, which only lasts for a few days or weeks max?
