Any stars left?

When I'm jumping around, it's kind of an event to find a star that HAS been tagged by someone already.... "Other people in the galaxy! I forgot they existed!!!"

I also like the systems with multiple CMDR tags in them. I try to figure out what happened... "Well, this one clearly jumped in, scanned the star, and jumped out.... this one might not have had an ADS and didn't see all the planets... and that one is very persistent to scan all those icy bodies 455k away from the jump point..."

Sorry guys, but while you weren't looking, I went and discovered them all. No more stars left now. I did leave most of the Earth-likes unscanned so that you can still discover stuff

Damn...
And that ELWs were already claimed by Chiggy...
OK, Game's over :D

Back to the OP, if you are following a route, such as DWE 3302, you might try deviating your course out 15-20 degrees between way points so that you make a triangle between the waypoints. You won't be fighting all of the previous explorers as much if you do that.

Plenty of shinies to go around. Found this on the Neutron star slow-route (Eco travelling in the neutron field below ~1000Ly)

Went to one of the Ancient ruins candidate systems today, ~850Ly from the bubble in my 47Ly Diamondback Explorer, flew as the crow flies (almost), first discovery on 3 systems. You don't have to go very far to find undiscovered systems.

Sometimes I am disappointed when I see all 50+ bodies scanned in a system, every single one, even 10000s of ls away .... I like to leave stuff for others to tag, even if it's only a few lowly moons :) Am I alone in this feeling ?

Uhh... sorry about that. I'm one of those guys. :) I get a bit obsessive from time to time....

I think my record for biggest system that I scanned everything in was 71 discreet bodies. (Anonymous, because I haven't turned it in yet.)

Five stars in that system (there are two brown dwarfs in there). I think it took me an hour and a half to scan it all. There were a couple of HMCs.... and that last planet, waaaay at the very end (next to the planet with the cursor), was a water world. (A hefty one at 4 earth masses, too). It was a casual 418,105 ls from the jump point....

I may have a problem. [wacky]
