Names for the upcoming co-pilots

Hoping a Dev reads this!

Hello all, recently my son has been born and I'm hoping this reaches out to someone higher up at frontier! Got my python back after spending weeks trying all sorts of different to get the money back I lost!

(never fly without rebuy)

Anyway, the seat next to me is a little bit empty on the python, so it would be absolutely awesome if one of the Co pilots could be named after my son! I know it's an absolute long shot that this will happen, but it would be nice having a father and son team that could take on some bounties.

Also, what's the best way to make money on elite? It took me weeks doing cargo runs!

Congrats' on the kid.

I think it won't happen. I don't reckon it's technically feasible.

What's more, if you die, you lose your fighter pilot. Forever.

Ah... I think you're misunderstanding the nature of 2.3.

Co-pilots will be only in the form of other players. If you want someone in that seat next to you, it's going to have to be a player.

Still; With the new cockpit avatars coming anyway, they could bring your NPC fighter pilot up from the sim seat integrated into the fighter bay, to the copilot's seat (EDIT: Only makes sense; When you fly the fighter, the NPC flies the ship, and you don't seem to need to sit in any special pod to make the neural uplink to the fighter.)

Maybe I'm going in the wrong direction here...

Now, we can sooner or later give ourselves a personal appearance with our avatars soon, with this, can we not edit our co-pilots appearance/gender/name etc?
