RIP John Hurt....
Spiders don't creep me out, luckily.
True story: I once moved a cord of firewood, which was teeming with (true) black widow spiders. There were at least 2 or 3 on each log. I was wearing heavy leather gloves. I dropped each log on the concrete driveway and stomped the spiders (which bounced off the wood) with my boots. I killed many hundreds of black widows that day, along with a dozen or so brown recluse spiders.
Hi Mom.
I know it's been a while since we spoke and I've been meaning to talk to you about it. It's unfortunate that you had to go die of cancer before I had the chance. Now that you are here though, how are things? Did you find a cure wherever you are?
Wait, you had brown recluses and black widows living in the same log pile? Isn't that like cheetah and antelope hanging out at the bar together?
Watch out for brown widows as well... My favorite disposal tool is a bic lighter and a can of either... The egg sacks die as well.
