Wish I could join you guys for the Big Bang....[woah], but work commitments [mad].

18:00 Game Time is 2 AM over here, I wont finish work until 5:30 AM (Night Shifts unfortunately).

Still, I look forward to watching the video!

Now I shall just gently land my Annie at Elysium's Rest (And Violently Explode [knocked out]).

My thanks to DR Kaii, Erimus and all those involved in the organisation of this trip.

I will keep my eyes peeled for the next one...

Tomorrow I won't be able to join the group destruction, but I'll find the location later that night and do it solo. Unless there's someone still in the M67 neighborhood willing to do it with me. I'll post in the discord or something beforehand.

Ladies and gents, it's been a mighty pleasure joining you all on this expedition, my first with this community. I had a blast making the trip and joining the few meet ups I was able to attend. My hat is off to you and I hope I can join you on the next one. Go out with a bang! o7

I work tomorrow so I will also miss the event. Add me in game: "-=REAPER=-" (no quotes)

Perhaps we can meet up later and detonate :)

Hi Mengy - yes, a bit pricey, but I think it has some nice variations. The Conda has grown and grown on me since using it on DW3302. Definitely my ship of choice for exploration

I bought my first Anaconda recently and flew her for a whole month trying to get used to it, but while I do believe it's a capable vessel and I love that jump range, I just hate flying the fracking thing! I can't get used to the slow supercruise turn rate, nor not being able to see under that huge nose it has, and I still scrape paint off the hull with every other station slot I pass through.

I still favor my Asp Explorer.

I Agree 100%. My Conda definitely has the advantage in jump range by a few light years, but not enough to make up for the shortfalls (my AspX is 48ly, Conda = 54ly). I'd much rather fly the AspX for the very same reasons. The great view became even more important lately with many people searching planet-side for abandoned bases in the Rift/Gap/Flux or more ancient alien ruins etc...

That being said, if the DBX had one class larger fuel scoop, and just one more size 1 internal slot, that would probably be my go-to explorer

I really like to fly my AspX, too (mostly for the cockpit view).

I've stayed away from the Anaconda for a couple of reasons: I don't like being limited to large landing pads and the cockpit view is too limiting. I spent 8 weeks engineering my Asp for this trip, knowing that a 'conda would be much easier to outfit and wouldn't need to be stripped down, like I had to do for the Asp. I'm glad I came in the Asp, but I do miss not having an SRV, because I couldn't afford the weight.

I was all set to take off and rush to the final way point in time for the end, then new ruins were found. :p

Tell you what though: I'll still try to make it for this meeting today. Those ruins will still be there, and while I could do with the knowledge I don't need the money (even though it seems I might). :)

I went far enough in RNGineering my Asp that having an SRV wasn't a weight issue anymore. :)

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all people involved in organizing this expedition!

It was really fun :). Thank you!

Well I arrived here merely seconds before the final suicide drop. :D And then the servers crashed.

Possibly a fitting end to a noble trip. :)

I wasn't here to fly alongside you all, and I guess my trip won't count in the final analysis, but I'm glad I did see some of you at the very end.

That was so much fun even though the servers didn't quite agree with us wanting to suicide all at the same time.

I'm uploading a few videos from today right now

Until next time CMDRs

Look at all the escape pods at the crash site
