Agreed, that's why my response to the OP included my respect and pride in those troops, but the OP was an obvious dig at the womens march was it not ? So it's important to protect the freedom of speech and protest that was fought for.

Despicable. Reminds me of the NRA criticizing the ATF. You have to be smarter to at least be opaque instead of obvious and see-through. I don't like social justice warriors either but it's because their self-righteous drivel hurts the very things I believe in by associating themselves with an obtuse version of what I believe. If your grandfather was in a concentration camp, would he want you to go around talking with some kind of authority regarding Isreal? He'd be embarrassed about your big mouth and his feelings would be hurt that you cheaply used something that wasn't even yours.

Did anyone up to the point you made this post claim to have a grandfather in ww2 or the holocaust ? And also how do you know if they would "tan their hide" ? (whether you are quoting a source or making a statement) Do you know them ? And my questions apply whether you were directing it to me or necronaught (the OP), or anyone else, because i'm a little confused about the intention and direction of your post. (Which i believe was referring to the OP and directed against his use of veterans, but i like to be sure).

Also i must make this point, no one is claiming that we have it as bad as the troops in WW2, even the hippy pacifist bunch don't think that (i'm no hippy pacifist). But there remains the whole point of freedom of protest and speech, and the threat of domestic fascism, whether it be BNP/EDL types in the UK, or Trump and his new inner circle, i think it's importand to respect protests against such things (including Anti Islamic protests) for the sake of our civilization, and i think we should all do that AS WELL as showing respect and pride for our troops that fell fighting German fascism in WW2, and fighting Islamic fascism now. The women by the way, in their own way, are fighting Christian fascism by protesting.

I'd just be more content if people actually demonstrated even a smidgen of reason and stop creating divisions. Respect for history is fine, but respect for our future (and more importantly our kids' future) is more important at the moment.

Demonstrations like the Womens march are important. We should be striving to leave the world in a better state than we found it in, not just a better state for a select few.

I prefer the term progressive, but if you'd rather let the world slide back 30 years then your going to be left behind wondering what the hell just happened.

If you really can't tell who is worse when you start the comparison with a troll, then I think you need to take a long, hard look in the mirror.

Are you familiar with the term "non apology"? If you want to say you're sorry, do it properly. You did nothing of the kind, you just declared that you stand behind what you wrote.

No but i mentioned part of Anon sin's comment that i was critical of, it was the one where i said that this makes me realise how much i support groups like the young turks, wolfpac and "SJWs" despite not considering myself a feminist or SJW and not allways agreeing with the so called regressive left.

Then I don't quite see why, but moderating is a hard and thankless job. Especially such purges. At least I got to rep you for it :)
