I don't think so, In fact, the copy we found, is either a mistake by a dev, or an actual copy instead of another ruin.

If its an actual copy, that means there are a lot more ruins out there, more than we need for the puzzle, we may be dealing with more than one set of ruins in every planet, we just haven't found them yet.

I refuse to count the second ruin as anything different than the first one we found, copy pasted to the last detail, even the data it gives, so, I believe that there are 5 different ruins, and multiple copies of each. -or- 4 different ruins without copies, but the fifth was a screw up by the devs.

That's a good point that bears repeating: Multiple TYPES and multiple copies of each TYPE, either intentionally or not.

Just throwing this one out there, looking straight up from C3 ruins, perhaps a cursory familiarity to the ruins.

LMC and SMC are the biggest most obvious things in the sky from basically EVERYWHERE except inside a nebula or behind the central gal bulge tho. They really show up because of how blue they are.
It might mean something if they're always above the horizon from ruin sites, but I think they set from the alpha site already :(

im really just hoping to start hearing electronic chittering or something like that, im tired of flying around looking at beige ground trying to discern something

Connect the dots!! Its connect the dots! Or circuit diagram! Or power routing game! The point is to link stuff up using square based sections using the Triangle based ones. Those are portals! Now to figure out where to start! This site has a triangle based one with a relic tower at or very near it? (niece has 2nd birthday today imma outtagame today sorry) It seems we can link up max 3 sets of square based ones before we need a triangle one or an end one.

I know they shift from the POV of the other sites, I'm currently keeping my gaze fixed from the new ruins, so far the larger one show no signs of changing position from this POV, I'll remain in this gaze position for a while longer.

Same here but on 7E.
.

i've been flying around 7d in the 119 system almost done with a complete circumnavigation on the -30ish lat and have nothing. Unless its somewhere else i havent found it

so it seems that site 2 the copied one is useless for us :p and we have to find another different one :p

just out of curiousity: did U encounter random POIs, and if where were they located ?
Was there clusters of POIs?

i normally fly in debug cam so i dont necessarily see the pois (i see probes cause they have red lights but thats about it) no major clusters that i can recall. There was one area on a different planet that had about 4 large crash sites and 2 srv crash sites all withing about 15km of each other

I just want to confirm also as someone mentioned earlier in the thread the new site DOES show as a POI at distance. I had the blue circle up to 10km above the site so maybe they have changed something server side to make them a touch easier to find.

Correct I found that if I had the 13 mil already from site 1, site 2 gave nothing.
If i handded in the missions and re took it I could get 13 mil for site 2 but then site 1 did nothing.

Not sure how we're going to reach ~100 data pieces at the current rate. Either PG/Open is the only way of achieving it.. or we are wrong in assuming there's only one ruin per system. Or at some point (when time passes or due to something we trigger) FD - sorry - Ram Tah decides to activate lots more obelisks. Or maybe we were never going to unlock all data pieces, we just assumed we could based on the "1/21" notation..

So far, every Ruin planet has a surface temp of 300k... coincidence?

Not a coincidence as they seem to have a biology somehow similar to ours. I believe all Guardians planets are located within a goldilock zone.

Therefore my focus on looking at planets, in System Synuefe ZL-J d10-119, within the same range as the first Ruins i.e. around 800-1000 LY from the main Star (F type).
