psy·cho·path
[sahy-kuh-path]
noun
a person with a psychopathic personality, which manifests as amoral and antisocial behavior, lack of ability to love or establish meaningful personal relationships, extreme egocentricity, failure to learn from experience, etc.

Also called: sociopath a person afflicted with a personality disorder characterized by a tendency to commit antisocial and sometimes violent acts and a failure to feel guilt for such acts

--------------

Just saying.... it seems pretty clear to me.

I think a video would help explain it better. :D

The only thing I'd disagree with is the "also called sociopath" part as they're two different disorders. Very similar to each other however pyscopathy is considered to be a genetic trait and lacking in empathy whereas sociopathy is considered to be caused by brain injury or a traumatic upbringing.

Sociopaths can appear totally normal to other people.

I agree there but it was right from the website. There are differences obviously.

You seem to have a not so unreasonable amount of cash there, bud.

EDIT: And why didn't you attack the wanted criminal immediately if you're a 'bounty hunter'? He was bound to attack you.

rofl.. :D Did you not see that coming?

However, I am unimpressed by the guys sloppy approach. Missiling someone to death is so Alpha 3 :):p

Indeed, I like word games too:

Sitting duck

Fig. someone or something vulnerable to attack, physical or verbal. (Alludes to a duck floating on the water, not suspecting that it is the object of a hunter or predator. *Typically: be ~; like ~; looking like~.) You look like a sitting duck out there. Get in here where the enemy cannot fire at you

;)

That's the general problem with MMO's. There are always those people from the wrong side of the IQ bell curve. Without any sanctions in game that keep them in check it isn't worth my time any more.

Why do you think I have a low IQ because I like to shoot at people in a game?

Are you serious? Waiting near a station to kill unsuspecting players, deliberately ruining the game for them just for ****ts and giggles, because that's all you can do?

Stu, Garak, and I were in Teamspeak when Stu first found the market exploit the first night of PB1. We all "tested" and recreated it, and then ticketed it that same night. Stu cleared his balance with PB2, but I chose not to for the time being.

If I attacked him while still within the No Fire Zone, I would have received a Wanted status too.

Sorta, but was more expecting him to go after someone coming out. :)

LOL @ Alpha 3 comment.

I noticed this a few days ago when someone was attacking a trader. I went to shoot the guy who was pirating, took him out, and I got a wanted status put on me because I opened fire in the no fire zone.. They probably need to fix that.

There are in fact a large number of high functioning sociopaths who are quite successful in business due to their inability to empathize with others and the tendency to see only their own needs as important. That's actually a provable fact. This is generally not so for psychopaths as their common behaviors tend to get them removed from the environment fairly quickly.

I was watching over you as you entered and then left Aulin's station earlier tonight. Keepin' an eye out for any psychopathic griefers!

I agree! I don't think we're dealing with a bunch of sociopathic bankers here that keep circling the station ports like vultures. Unfortunately, unless there are measures for behavioral adjustment in place this won't stop.

The entire thread is a nice try to flamebait, it brings nothing constructive to the game.

And I agree, and for another thing, naming & shaming (even by using You Tube videos) is against the forum rules and I have removed the links to it. This thread is now closed and been moved.
