Beginners guide to Elite Dangerous...

Hey, I've been putting together a noobs guides to Elite Dangerous, it's a work in progress but already has some information I've pulled from across the internet and these forums. I'm adding to it everyday as I learn the ropes. It's built from the perspective of a noob for noobs.

#8 on your hud you list as "err dunno"

This is your ships signature, a ship boosting around firing energy weapons and pulling topgun manouvers is going to be lit up like a beacon easy for radar to detect and such.

A ship running slow weapons down, silent mode etc will be hard to impossible to see until you're up close and personal.

I dont know if signature has much effect elsewhere such as eve online style tracking. But its basically how big of a radar target you are.

Hi there,

I just wanted to say thank you for the guide that you have put together. I'm not a hard core gammer by any stretch of the imagination so this has at least got me able to fly about and be just the right side of dangerous
