I was driving down the highway next to Lambert International, last week, when I saw an F-15 do a combat take off and then a fully vertical climb. Full burn East and buzzed a 747. Race back, touched the runway and did another combat take-off and vertical climb. Buzzed another 747 and then finally landed just moments ahead of the first 747 landing. I couldn't believe my eyes at how badass that was.

In January, I thought I saw a pair of B-2s flying high above. Having grown up near Whiteman AFB, I was used to seeing their eerie shape gliding across the sky. Turns out I was seeing a mission to bomb an ISIS stronghold...18 hours later.

Totally off-topic but this just reminded me of all the military activity I've personally witnessed recently.
