Powerplay Question r.e. bounty voucher bonus - Duval & Hudson

Howdy folks, I have an upcoming project/idea and it would be very useful to know this:

At what point does the bonus apply?

If I gathered a load of generic Empire/Federation bounties then ranked up the powerplay and cashed in at an exploited/controlled system would I get the bonus?
Similarly if I gathered tons in the control/exploited system then went elsewhere to cash in would I loose the bonus?

I think the bounty multiplier from powerplay rank (2 and 5) are applied when you turn them in to the station. So where you cash them in matters and you can kill outside the power's systems and cash them inside the power's systems and get the bonus.

But ALD has increased bounties in her systems. I don't know how those are applied.

Thanks I think you are correct but I actually jumped ahead and decided to test the theory. Got myself 5mil in Empire bounties and joined up with ALD. 3000/10,000 merits in the bag, hopefully I can get to 10k by the tick on Thursday.

Answers:

The voucher applies at the point it's cashed. This means it's possible to hoarde bounty vouchers then get ALD rank 5 and massive payouts.
This also means you can only cash in at control/exploited systems, where you gather bounties matters not provided they can be cashed in.

Potentially this means you can get Fed/Alliance etc bounties and use the galactic contact in a low security system to get a bonus on those too (-20% but +100% value).
