News Ship naming – transmission intercepted.

With all the talk of Rebel Transmissions I can just see Zac Bursting into the room and going "Tear This ship apart until you've found those plans..." :)

From his quote you will have to pay for it on the Hull. Think of it like you have registered your ship so the beacon puts out it's name but someone has to paint it on the side and that costs Cr for paint and labor.

Great news about ship naming, one of those that goes way back as a requested feature.

Cocalarix (I never did find out if I pronounce your name right?),

You will be able to name your ship and that will show in the HUD and in multicrew game UI. To add the name to your hull, you will need to pick up a name plate from the store.

That's an awesome idea. It's not coming for 2.3 and I don't know what technical limitations there would be to that but it's certainly something I can pass on as a cool idea.

Two questions: Will we have to buy multiple plates (one per ship) or is one enough? And ... how about changing the stations' welcome to manufacturer/first three letters of ship name?

The idea is great but I'm sure if u want the Name of your ship on your Commander then you must buy a plate from the online store. hahahaha :D
