We're currently in the process of getting my little guy added to the Irish foreign births register so he has Irish nationality, and in order to do that the consular needs a couple of small ID photos signed by his doctor.
Those little ID photos? They never turn out well do they? But even by normal standards this came out pretty terrible.
He's the cute little smiley guy who is my best buddy most of the day. But somehow he now looks like he's just gone through most of the early learning centre with a baseball bat. It looks less like a passport photo and more like a mugshot. I mean, look at this...
What's even more disturbing is the flurry of comments along the lines of "He is just like his dad isn't he?" and "You can see which side of the family he takes after". It's enough to give someone a complex.
