I'm going with typo because it's spelt correctly on the store.

Maybe they are more susceptible to being spoken to like yanks, so FD change the grammar to american english to try and impress them into spending money. Fairly common sales tactic...appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Fun fact: You should use "spelled" in US English and you can use both "spelt" and "spelled" in UK/Australian English.

Very interesting, I`ve noticed this too, with other games where `colour` suddenly becomes `color` and often gets intertwinded..

It could be just a mistake, but it could also be a subtle attempt to attract Americans. I find it actually silly and very manipulative, but such places like Hollywood and other companies play these manipulative games all the time with different countries and even individuals (ie appealing to women by making men look stupid to sell shoes, etc).

I prefer colour over color. I usually go with US spelling, though because my average fellow American doesn't...they can't even... q.q
