[Suggestion] Super long range FSD for large ships?

Similar to how class 1-3 thrusters have the 'enhanced performance' version, would it be in frontier's interest to make the class 6 or 7+ FSD to also have a 'enhanced' version?

Perhaps a type 3b FSD that have much better range at the cost of longer boot time, power draw, and very high cost.
And the type 3b FSD's technology partially came from thargoid crafts, player who wish to obtain the 3b FSD must shoot down a thargoid ship first!!!

What's wrong with taking a trip to Farseer to apply increased range modifications to the FSD?

Nothing wrong with that, is just I got a 49% roll on my cutter's fsd and it's jump range is barely 27ly. Where as my similar outfitted anaconda would easily go to 40ly.
I just want to know if "would it be in frontier's interest to make the class 6 or 7+ FSD to also have a 'enhanced' version?"

If the answer is no i would just be sad for a while because the anaconda seemed to be a much better multipurpose ship than the cutter... so ill just sell the cutter :(

Then use conda for explo instead of cutter.

The FSD range is ridiculous low on two ships in that game - fdl and vette. Only these ships should be buffet a bit to make flying them not annoying.

to correct your perception:
The Anaconda is a better Multipurpose ship than the Cutter.

The Cutter is a big warship with highspeed engines capable also of bulk trading to some extend.
The thing is it is not so good at its jump range. Accept it.
Every ship has its downsides so this one too.

If you want that superrange FSD I suggest to re-implement the 1984 Galactic Hyper Drive.
Very expensive, usable only once and you didn't know where you drop but it took you far away.

Miklos
