Massive Thargoid Base in The Unknown Trailer

The Thargoid base in The Unknown trailer is massive and we can explore it with the SRV. Etherin_Nor made an enhanced image.

Based on the vid, I think base is grown from Barnacles, hence all those systems locked in Beta.

Sandro also mentioned turrets in relation to bases in the 2nd Livestream Q&A towards the tail end.

Which intrigues me!

i don't think that is a massive thargoids base.

maybe i am wrong... but the architecture has a different look.

maybe it's another species of aliens.

Thargoid base, you say? I'll load up with a few Long-Range modded APAs and take the turrets out from 6.5 km away...

Waiting for them to casually spawn near the bubble, 'cause the smell of artificially random alien encounters is fading already.

With its squirrel like handling and the undoubted potential need for some combat driving I reckon there is a high chance of getting an SRV stuck in tunnels like that at just the wrong moment...

Exploring it with SRV vs with Legs ! Sigh! Is it too much to pine for Space Legs even over Atmospheric Planet Landings?

I don't really understand all this craving for space legs?... I mean it would have been in the game instead of the SRV! but it's not really practical to explore a planet on foot when you can have wheels?

Im thinking its of the same origin as the barnacles due to those tube worm type structures, and the fact it seems to be littered with meta alloys.

I don't get it either. Maybe if we could build our own base and invite friends but there's nothing to do currently.

Planet? Yes!
Inside of a Base? No!
Think It would be odd if one drove around the inside of their houses in a 4-wheeler
