Imagine if you will a much larger planetary vehicle or SRV with larger wheels and a cargo bay with reasonable size. It would also be multi-crew ready and could offer some new gameplay mechanics.
- Holds up to 3 CMDRS
- Can deploy 2 regular SRV
- Electric Motor with higher torque and lower top speed
- Deployable solar panels to recharge long range batteries
- Lower center of gravity ("So it doesn't fall over when it looks at a hill"
)
- New prospecting options like surface mining and or drilling
- New exploration options with batteries and solar power
- Large cargo bay for extraction and storage
- Can only be deployed from larger ships
- Enhanced scanners for finding resources
Perhaps this is a better way of tackling multiple SRV's in multi crew or maybe not but some variety would be nice and it would seem that if we are going to continue with multi-crew in mind this might work. Feel free to add to it or imagine some other new mechanics a vehicle of this kind could offer. Or maybe even some concept images or renders etc. Does Faulcon Delacy even make planetary vehicles? If not I just love their designs so much I decided perhaps they should expand into this market Be cool to see what people can come up with for a concept and or what other features/gameplay mechanics it could offer. Even a non multi-crew version could add that extra variety we need for planetary vehicles.
