Fun fact: on watching again just now myself, I've realised for the first time that after I said "Pull Up!" at around 1:29, at 1:33 I went within 80 m of the ground before stabilising - including going from over 1 km to 80 m in a second or so. Thank Braben for the FdL's vertical thrust...

I'm afraid I don't know the Cmdr in question save I think for one other similar encounter and by reference to third party sites and the reports of other PvP-ers. I don't know how old he is.
