Possible to gift beta access?

As the title says, I'm wondering if it's at all possible to gift beta access to people.
Usually there is a "this is a gift" option in the Frontier Store but it's not there on the beta page.
So I'm wondering if there is any other way to gift beta access, I'd love to play it with a friend, but they don't have the means to buy it themselves.

I don't think you can.. Previously I wanted to do the same thing with paint jobs from the store but the option just isn't available.

No means? How did your friend get ED? Credit card, PayPal, purchased by someone else etc? Does he live close? I'm confused. Maybe login to the Frontier store using his game account info then making the purchase would work.

He doesn't have much money at the moment. And yes, he originally got ED when I gifted it to him.
