That face when you forget important things

Like handing in that delivery mission on a planet 130KLs from arrival and only realise the next system over. [sulk] Rarely has the "abandon" button been so attractive.

But yeah, went there again, at least it wasn't Hutton.

Been there done that. Sometimes the mouse hand is faster than the brain when fast clicking on the next destination station!

For me depends on the mission, the reason, and the payout whether I'll ditch an accidentallyed. I'll tend to go up to a half-mill in Ls as a standard mission selection parameter, based also on any rare mats or rep I'm working for. A straightup cred run selected in error to somewhere ridiculous would likely get ditched if there are no rep or mat concerns involved.

Bah, that`s nothing. I`ve read up on what`s a great commodity to buy from the system I`m in and sell to another. Luverly money! I set my coordinates get repaired and refueled. Set off for the 10 or so systems I will have to jump to reach my goal.

I get to the system, land at the station, go to sell my cargo.... And nothing`s there...

I totally forgot to buy the ruddy comodities![cry]

Total facepalm and kicking myself.

Devs have given positive confirmation that redirects are all going to be made option in 2.3. I'm really looking forward to it.

I was up late, grinding cargo runs for a CG.

Picked up another load of something or other, targeted the destination with my galaxy map, made half a dozen jumps to the destination system, hiked quite a way to the required station, docked at the station, opened up the commodities tab, sold the cargo, selected the supply system on the galaxy map, made half a dozen jumps back again, docked at the supply station, opened the commodities tab, bought more cargo and.....

Eh? What? What's it mean by "Unable to complete transaction"???

After staring at the screen, utterly bewildered, for about 30 seconds, I checked my inventory and found that I was still carrying 500t of cargo which I had, somehow, failed to actually sell and had carried all the way back to where I bought it. [mad][sour]

Once, when selecting a system I had a delivery to, I accidentally selected a system behind it on the map instead. About 8 jumps later, I finally realized something was wrong.

I did the Achenar 3 challenge in my fully-loaded corvette and only discovered that I had a collector controller in the slot normally used for my SRV after I had landed. :(

Seeing a mission asking for delivery to a certain station. Saying "Yep, I know where that is", accepting the mission and heading off.

Landing at said station, only to see no option to hand mission in. Saying "What the..." and opening the transactions tab. Yep, the mission is still there, yep, I've still got all the cargo...

Reading the fine print of the mission, more carefully this time, and discovering that there are actually two space stations with the same (or very similar) names, in different systems, and you've gone to the wrong one.

Your now giving me bad memories, flew all the way to Colonia in my asp and forgot the galactic travel guides!! Then on the way back fell asleep one night on the sofa got cooked on a star and blew up! Wasn't my finest weeks on elite😎

Haha. That reminds me of the time when I accessed the map from the mission board, to see were the station was, plotted a route and flew there, When I arrived, I went to hand in the mission, only to realize I had forgot to accept it. D'oh! Fortunately, it was just a couple jumps way, lol.
