Horizons Mining in the T9

I've been thinking building up my fleet with a mining ship. I've read that the Conda, Python, Clipper and even the Corvette make good choices. But I've really been thinking on a more dedicated ship for the role. And yes the T9 comes to mind. I'm thinking with the SLF, long range pulse or burst turrets and I think I remember seeing the ship getting some other buffs this next release may make the vessel more resilient. Please feel free to offer your opinions and loadouts and experience. Thanks for any help!

T9's really good miner (most trading ships are), though it can be a bit of a pain, because she's really slow. Especially with cargo scoop down.

Personally I have a mining Beluga. I know, heresy. But she's a real sweetheart. Fast and agile enough to zip from rock to rock in a moment. Ideal hardpoints and nice internals. Plus the fighter, of course. Essential if you don't want to equip weapons.

Basically Beluga very similar to Python, when comes to mining (192t cargo, similar number of limpets,...) Only she's faster and has a fighter. Luv her.
