Hmm.
It was suggested to me that I might even get a game if I jump on during a dev CQC night. I got a couple of games during the beta, and I really enjoyed it. But I haven't had a match since it was brought into the game. I do try sometimes, but staring at a loading screen I can do for maybe five minutes max.

7 PM BST that's uh 19:00 UTC ? Or does BST have an extra hour of DLS in it?
Plus nine and a half for Darwin.
So that's uh 28:30 so err 4:30 am on the next day ?

Every time I feel a thread has reached a new low in childish and petulant behaviour, the forum users show how much further they can sink.

When you ask yourself why the devs no longer converse on the forums, look here for why,.

From what I recall it was actually heller fun.

And you see so many suggestions of "no rebuys in open" or "special PvP consent zones"
I think Frontier took those seriously (and there have been hundreds of threads and posts like that).
They created a space where you can PvP without risking your expensive rebuys.
Where you CAN role play that e-bushido code of conduct. Where it is just mano a mano going toe to toe on skillz.

And everyone avoids it.

I like scrapping against players of a similar skill and outfitting.
I don't like getting thumped by highly engineered optimized PvP builds flown by pilots with a taste for hollow squares.

CQC should fill a key role that we see constant calls for.

But it's so underused that I can't get a game in my timezone / server region.

I remember - it was SO much fun. Like SRV racing. Like fighting a Civil War with CMDRs on both sides. Like running a blockade. Like [redacted OP: SEC]

I'm totally in.
I just can't get in.

To be honest, are the cqc steams adding any value? I don't intend to be mean here, but they reach what, 200 viewers? Would anyone miss them if they stopped? I.... I'm sorry, I know that may come across as a bit brutal, but I feel it's true. It'd be more interesting if we could watch Sandy start from scratch and play the game all the way up to an Anaconda.

CQC is probably the best game I've played in VR.
Would encourage people to give it a go, because yes, it can be great fun.

I would love to see that!!! Would be hella more interesting that CQC.
