2.3 when?

Well maybe they should release the rest of 2.3 without MC, and keep MC in beta testing. Then when they have MC ready they can release MC in a separate download like Arena, where it belongs ;)

As far as I am concerned they can threw beta5 on live end of this week. AFAIK the real major issues are solved, it looks and sounds better than live, it plays more smoothly, offers new gameplay, whatever is left to do can wait. Either tomorrow or friday, hits Q1.

I'm really not worried about it - it gets here when it gets here.

Multi-crew isn't all that interesting to me - might make for a fun distraction from time to time, but that's about it.

The Dolphin is really the one thing I'm most looking forward to in 2.3.
Followed by the new camera tools.

All the nerfs I can live without. A few of the QoL improvements will be nice. Other than that, it's pretty much just filler to me.

Pretty much. The only thing i'm really looking forward to is Thargoid content, but i know there won't be a lot of it.

I just want 2.3 out so we can get 2.4 news.

Livestreams either said "no decision on the date yet" or "when its ready".

Personally MC has a few back end issues still so I'd expect earliest next Tue-Thurs. My personal bets are the 2nd week of April. This has been a true old school beta with big bugs so expecing the length to be longer accordingly.

Ahhh, ok. I don't play beta, so I have no idea how it is going. 5 betas was leading me to think it was getting close, but apparently, not.

No... The biggest problem with CQC is that it is separate. It needs to be properly integrated, with a reason for being there, will proportional in game rewards for taking part.

CQC is the most fun, well balanced combat in the game. A started load out, well flown, is competitive against the highest unlocks - unlike combat in the main game. Apart form the power ups, larger version of CQC, the the installations/stations located in asteroid fields, are how combat zones should have been. the big ships further out, taking long range shots, small ships ducking, weaving, taking cover, hiding, then co-ordinated attacks on the larger ships...

Z...

hopefully next week. Like Wings though, this update doesnt do much for a solo'er like me. Just waiting for 2.3 to be released so we can focus on the hopefully more meatier 2.4/3.0 updates.

Ditto, the only thing I know of that's a pos addition in 2.3 at least so far for me is the extermination of non optional redirect missions

I am ashamed, I forgot that. + rep for making me a small tad less grumpy, yes that is indeed great. I vehemently hate this mechanic, beyond belief.
Its like when you get the very first missions from a new system, you know for certain, that these delivery missions almost all will be to forsaken, back ward outpost in the middle of nowhere, 270 000 Ls's out, still playing Beach Boy's on the radio and the chick's all got a loaf of bread in the hair.

Cheers Cmdr's

before the weekend, the player base is used to a buggy game anyway so just throw it down fdev

I think you could be right. Hits Q1 release.

Failing that Tuesday 4th April.

well they are stickers for dates as far as end dates, and Q1 was the original call, not that it matters but it is stable enough to deploy, heck it even runs better for the most part than 2.2 as it stands

Isn't there something going on at the end of April or something, so maybe before then.

Gone past caring to be honest, the main features for 2.3 have become a non starter, reading about a few of the other wow factors, they seem to be mere placeholders that wont see life for some time, but you know with any patch there are always QOL and a few bugs sorted out so there is something to look forward to at least.

So yeah it will be here when it gets here, off playing Grim Dawn, a bit of Doom and oh yeah new season for Diablo 3 drops on friday so there is that. (not got around to ME4 yet)
