Think you'll find that's an orthographic issue son, not a grammar one.

(Also color/colour were interchangeable until Samuel Johnson standardised British English spelling & Noah Webster "simplified" US English spelling)

LMFAO.

The best (sadly apocryphal) story is that back in the day when the first book printers came to the UK, spelling of words wasn't standardised. The printers charged by the letter and so we ended up with:-

though (instead of tho)
ought (ort)
Colour (color)

Where they added some "extras" in. Spelling was standardised eventually which is why we have all these redundant letters in words.

Us Brits chuck a whole heap of necessary 'U's into all our wourds, so that we can spot an American when they don't.

Elite is a pan-galactic game. I'm not toou bothered about which spelling they choose, as long as they are consistent.

Here's one.... Look at ACHENAR in game.. Now look at Eridanus Constellation (Which Achernar is a part of that constellation) on google.... It's actually ACHE 'R' NAR.. Plus!!! THEY'RE MISSING STAR SYSTEMS, another example, look at the list of documented stars in Eridanus, then try looking for them in-game... I thought they used all documentation of known stars and generated the rest... guess not...
