Ship Builds & Load Outs [DBS] How does this build look for PVE bounty hunting?

I've been running this sort of build for bounty hunting for a bit now and I've been wondering if this is really the best way to go about things. I rarely end up in problems with this build, but I'm not sure about efficiency. If anyone has any tips I'd appreciate it.

I've also thought about my next step for ship, is it worth going for a vulture now or just grinding for Python? Currently sitting on 15 mil in the bank.

DBS is indeed a fun ship to fly! I guess you're hunting in High RES, not Haz RES? If so, I would personally go for an all Laser build and replace the ECM with a Point Defence, since most of the time you would be supporting the police anyway.

A fully A-rated Vulture would cost you around 20 Mil, and personally it's still my most fun ship to fly (only challenged by my FAS). A Vulture is also the first combat ship capable of soloing HAZ Res (at least for me):

What do you plan on doing with the Python? As a Multirole, it's perfect, but if you're focusing on combat, I would suggest to make the Fer-de-Lance your nixt big step, since it's way cheaper in a combat fit than a Python.

I was thinking about using the Python as a combat ship (not dedicated but primarily), though now that you say it the FDL looks to be more worthwhile. I've recently hopped into a Vulture having previously thought it a bit overrated, but man was I wrong! Most fun I've had in a High RES or while flying in general.

Thanks for both builds, particularly the Vulture one since I've been wondering how best to fit my power plant around A grade modules and class 3 hardpoints.

20 Millionen is pretty much the high end for the Vulture, you can't get way more expensive with it. In my opinion, Beam + Multicannon is the overall best and balanced weapon loadout for the Vulture.

As a starting point for engineering, I would suggest slapping some High Capacity mod with Corrosive effect on the Multicannon from Tod "the Blaster", increasing the hull damage by a nice margin and giving you some more time in combat before having to refill. As for the Beam, visit The Dweller and mod it with the Efficient mod (I've added Regeneration Sequence for some support in wing combat). Both Engineers are the first ones to unlock pretty easily.

Well, of course, the more expensive / better ships will usually fare way better in combat. The next step up from the Vulture would be the Fer-de-Lance - at least concerning ships that don't need any faction rank.
