Has anyone else found the FdL HUD a bit odd?

I really like the FdL and I know many people have critcised the cockpit frame on the windshield...but has anyone noticed the HUD stuff?

Every other ship I've owned (only about a third of them), the ship graphic fits nicely inside the shield rings...in the FdL it doesn't...the rings are either too small or the ship graphic too big.

Likewise the HUD graphic when you are about to land, the ship graphic is way too big.

This is just my opinion, but these things are noticeable to me....but then I'm a bit OCD like that.

It is a cockpit that will bring out the OCD of most of us.

I looked at it from the outside as close as I could and I still have to ask; why?

As to the hologram? I will have to have a look and I know that what you have said, is going to stick out, like a sore thumb.

It is unusually large on both counts but doesn't effect the gameplay to any degree.

No, it doesn't affect gameplay, I agree.

It just looks a bit odd when FD have done such a good job on the other ships.

The FdL... Arg. I want so badly to love this ship. With all the cosmetic options we can buy... The only one I want is a centered cockpit seat. The ship flies great, tho. I never noticed the HUD issue... Too distracted by the weird seat position.

In the CG in Lidpar, I had a Vulture with G5 dirty drives and a pair of (un modded) plasma accelerators. Now that was fun!

I love it in spite of the bizarro cockpit. But yes, if it was my 50m credits I'd get the seat moved, or swap to a Gutamaya cockpit bubble.
