I take it your link to "Is Your Forex Broker A Scam?" is trying to imply inventing.com, the source of this Frontier cash flow statement, is a scam.

Let us know when you can be bothered to read the accounts on Frontier's own website. They show the same cash flow figures. Cash down by about £1.8million in each of the last three accounts.

I think is this a long way from the truth. Every player who has paid for ED and been disappointed is a player less likely to pay Frontier for a good update.

This was proven by Season 2. Sales were flattening out when Frontier cut off the data feed. At that point, less than 20% of ED buyers had bought Season 2.

The only 'fact' that Steam numbers convey is how many people who use Steam to launch are playing and in no way reflect the actual amount of people playing at any given time.

Therefore, incomplete numbers, and in being incomplete are inaccurate.

Really you need to learn how to read a cashflow statement. It's not doing what you think it is doing - the key (as in most important) line is cash generated from operating activities.

First, why should they disclose any figures they may have?

Secondly, (and more importantly) why should such figures matter to us?

It is largely irrelevant, what matters is whether we as individuals will pay for relevant updates not other people. FD are not charging us subscription, nor are they paying us dividends. If you happen to be a shareholder in FD, then you should take any concerns up with FD directly through the appropriate private channels rather than using social media or public forums.

Perhaps there's been a big increase since, but I doubt it. Horizons looked most attractive when it had just planetary Landings, and every expansion since has driven it downhill. It hasn't got any good reviews from major games mags and has got generally bad reviews from users e.g. 49% metacritic.
