Hardware & Technical Saitek X-55 Rhino out of stock everywhere?!?

I can't find it in any of the places I looked before I got mine direct.
Mind you though this has happened before so they will come back in stock. I remember someone emailed them and found out when the next lot were coming in so it might be worth a quick email to Saitek.

No surprise with X-55, they produced limited number of HOTAS. X-52 bought out is interesting side effect of the renaissance of space games though. Maybe try to look around for standard version, not pro one?

I had to pre-order mine to save me a spot in line. As soon as the next shipment came in it was sent out to me. I had to wait a month but if I didnt reserve one and just tried to wait for one to come available.... I would still be waiting.

I think that getting in line is the way to go, but I would prefer to buy from the UK. Gotta send out a few emails, PcNation seem good but there are some dodgy reviews.

Found mine in Frys, a local electronics chain here in the states. Was pretty lucky to get it since it was put aside, but when I went in the next day I called and they still had it and I decided to reserve it. Went in the same day and picked it up for 200 dollars with tax since I was able to get a slight discount from price matching Amazon.

$200? that's £116.75 lol

bargain. I could take a punt in town and have a look in PC World, Maplins etc maybe a few of the smaller independent shops but I doubt they'll have any.

*EDIT*

Had a very promising email from PC Nation but some of the reviews regarding their customer service are putting me off.

Keep checking gameshark .... they get new stock without anyone knowing, I emailed them and they don't give stock information out.. they simply say keep checking.. but they will get stock before anywhere else as they are the OFFICIAL supplier of Saitek in the UK

I got mine from them about 14 days ago £169.99 free delivery.

It's a bit strange that they don't give out stock information, PC Nation were very forthcoming with dates and time estimates however some of their reviews said that they ordered items that were in stock only to be told that they were out of stock 3 days later (the delivery time).

This is enough to put me off PC Nation I think unless someone on here has ordered from them before.

With game shark I suppose you just keep checking the product page every day?

gameshark are 100% legit and they don't tell you because they simply don't know, like every other site doesn't know they basically give you false promises.. if you go to the official Saitek store it links you to gameshark for the UK... trust me, they will receive them first before anywhere else

but they go out of stock very fast (very fast) so you need to keep checking each day and as soon as you see them in stock get your order in quickly.

click my name and check what other threads I started lol I was in the same boat as you, but I was looking for an x52 pro but then I decided the x55 was better and I was able to stretch my budget and get one instead.

Well that has answered a few questions of mine. I am having to wait until standard beta too :(

Definitely want my x-55 (and EDtracker!) before the 29th! :(

glad I could help, been playing around with mine in war thunder .. but the SOLE reason I bought it is for elite.

and after using it I simply would not recommend anything but this stick... the warthog is great but no twist stick which means u need pedals :(

in this months pc-gamer they review flight sticks you should check it out.. x55 and warthog are the top 2, but if you read the comments closely the reviewer basically says the x55 is just as good as the warthog but its made from plastic not metal.

cannot wait for the 29th :)
