Are we able to import our 2.3 beta Commander into live build?

Apologies if this has already been asked, I did run a cursory search which turned out empty.

As title says really, I spent a fair amount of time creating my 'perfect' Commander in the 2.3 beta, is there any way to import him to 2.3 Live?

Far as we know, you'll want to take a screenshot of your Holo-Me settings. : )

Last I heard the answer was decidedly no with the exception of the above workaround.

I doubt it. You shouldn't do anything in the beta that you don't want to lose - FD specifically state that the beta servers are reset when the beta finishes, and nothing in the beta affects the production game.

Surely there is a some file or text based settings buried in the game files somewhere? Any geniuses out there to help?

This is why I found it funny how everyone had their Beta faces stuck up as avatar`s when it was inevitable they`d have to do it all over again when the official patch was out and likely never get it the same again. Made me chuckle every time I saw it.

Also everyone on the forum with an avatar of their CC is really bland and boring. You forget them after 10 seconds.

Well, we just create a new one no big deal, but you're right they are a bit boring to look at

Its literally one min work. Had a bug forcing me to refo it initially, its easy as heck.

Since it's no big deal... you should totally change yours... just to... demonstrate it's no big deal.

Not because your avatar/Holo-Me is utterly identical to mine, except for being about 20 years older. No, obviously not that!

To be fair, the OP isn't really asking for anything that might be an exploit, usually there are a lot more "Can I transfer x from Beta to the live server" asking for a lot more than this.

The OP might be the first, but he definitely won't be the last to ask a similar question.

I kept with the usual assumption 'what happens in beta stays in beta' so never got around to a 'final' face.
