Seems like somebody like spending his time whining about people whining about a game they obviously hate.

Is your life that bad?

I have far too many of these.

I'm willing to bet none of the people 'bashing' Elite hate the game. If they hated the game, they wouldn't be wasting their time here. I hate Dark Souls with a passion, but you don't see me badmouthing it on its subreddit or whatever. I certainly don't take the time to give it some actual constructive criticism and offer suggestions and opinions on how it can be improved.

For the record, i love Elite for what it is. The flight model is fantastic, art direction and audio are, for me, up there with the best in the business. Combat is great, the lore, mysteries and storylines greatly interest me (even if they are slow as molasses in treacle). The sense of scale is unparalleled, planet landings are genuinely impressive, and i know this is a minority opinion, but i really appreciate Engineers. I'll say it again, i love Elite Dangerous :) Oh, and it's on console as well.

This is why i'm so disappointed with the direction the game has gone in.

The real fans are the ones who are legitimately concerned for the future of the game instead of defending the glareing flaws and things that desperately need fixing.

Sorry, not everyone is content with such low quality content.

Month long beta - still released broken update.

FDev is a joke.

Exactly.

So many people defend FDev no matter what they do. This patch is a disgrace. They should be ashamed of releasing this garbage.

Don't feed the obvious troll.

Not really, but don't sit and whine about stuff in an optional to play video game that so many obviously hate. Have better things to waste my creative juices on, like being creative :p

Let's not hop screaming into the fallout shelter just yet.

It is a tepid and shallow update filled with bugs, we all agree on this. Disgraces in life are whole other things, much worse than multicrew.

Like the engineers update.

These complaints are also optional. You don't have to click them and read them. But you did. And now you're complaining about people complaining.

Go get some crayons and waste those creative juices you were just talking about so you can give your mom something nice to hang on the refrigerator.

Here's the best example of this: The Anaconda bridge.

Beta players have said they reported this way back in week one of beta. Then that comparison thread happened, and everybody who didn't have beta complained. Ed popped his head in, said they had been aware of it since the thread went live, was not intentional, and he'd get back to us when he'd spoken to the art team. This was roughly a week ago, when there's obviously no time left to do anything about the problem.

As far as i know, he hasn't addressed the matter since, despite being obviously quite active during 2.3's release on stream and such.

Better example. Best part of the update is the fact that it makes the previous update actually playable for people who waited months for it to be fixed.

Polygons don't just drop by themselves.
It was obviously intentional.

They call it "a bug" to appease the relentless angry masses of this forum, but the downgrade probably had to be done for performance reasons while in multicrew.

It's how they conduct business.

Garbage release.

Week of silence.

Announcement that they are "working" on fixes.

Months later we are left with the same bugs.

Rinse. Repeat.
