THE FORMIDINE RIFT MYSTERY (Part 4)

Good work Commanders! o7

I would like to see how it looked before it was enhanced by the 2.3 assets, maybe just a drifting anaconda?

Just a separate idea for some fun (?) event - Rifters CG to fund towing that newly found mega ship back to the bubble and park it somewhere in a dry dock (or maybe at the Tionisla graveyard - when it's finally implemented into the game?).

What do you guys think?
I'd be keen, would be a fitting monument.

A anaconda transforming into a megaship after nobody is left there...

The transformers join the galaxy! 😂😂😂 sorry... Couldn't resist... ^^

Thanks to all who helped, thanks to Drew who gave us some clue(s) [with the s its not a rhyme! :D] and also thanks to the children of raxxla who finaly find out where the System is! Great work of the whole community! Just awesome! :)

Just got to page 391 and have to wonder if I'm the only one who sees CoR announcement as vaguely acknowledging the work done by people in this thread while taking most of the credit for finding something which they didn't have the curtesy to inform people of until after they had released their "look at us" statement?

Or am I wrong in that rushing off to follow a lead and find something first and claiming all credit while not sharing information on this thread is the way things should be?

Feds have asked me to transport slaves too and it was admiral ranking mission from fed controlled system, I didn't believe the talks about the rotten core and hypocricy of the federation at first, then I got it in the face. Regarding the empire, those monsters managed to be even worse still, implementing genocide as a method of colonising already settled words and considering it their right. Loren family is guilty of one of those and Kahina's involvement should sure be investigated. By someone able to conduct fair process that is, surely not by criminal regimes like empire or corrupt federal bureacrats. And there is no harm in listening what she's got to say first now, is it?

Really? I found out that the Feds were a sham back in the Eravate system right at the start. I reached "Allied" and the NPC message said "Let's get it straight, it's all about the bottom line and money cmdr." (or something like that.) It wasn't about Adeles Armada keeping the space lanes safe or any high ideal, it was all about money. So I swapped my cargo/fighter for an explorer ship and lit out for the deeps. Another clue is that slaves are transported in cargo holds, not cabins. Every time I return to the bubble I think it's time for the players to just abandon the bubble, I seriously do not like dealing with it.
One day, ED is going to be players vs the Bubble.

Huh.

And to think I was out in that region last year, even discovered an Earth-like World not too far away from the megaship's location.

  • There were many forums, many spreadsheets, and many Discord discussions where multiple groups were solving the same aspects of the puzzle. That includes CoR. This thread is not unique.
  • Some of the answers in this thread filled in a few gaps we were missing and sometimes we were filling in the gaps of other spreadsheets and forum posts. In the cases someone helped our own list, we thanked them.

We do not operate like Canonn. Our publishings are slow and infrequent because we value accuracy and completeness of data. We prefer to separate signal from noise, on our own, as a way to find personal challenges on top of not requesting energy and time out of an entirely different group of people. On rare occasion we will reach out and push information to the public in an effort to help them along with reliable data, and on rarer occasion to ask for the help of a larger audience. I want to stress again that the reluctance to share things is because we have a sincere outlook of feeling bad, a failure even, when forced to ask the mental time and energy of other people. Such a request, from our perspective, is never asked of lightly.

This was a community effort
, no doubt, and many of the CoR posting here have said that already. But you underestimate how much work is done outside of these relatively low-activity forums, and how often CoR Intelligence deploys to learn if their data and hunches are correct... only to find out it was a terrible coincidence and the distance was for naught.

Got this weird feeling that on 29th were going to find out something that is going to blow our minds my guess at it is

We the CMDRs are the children of raxxla and we are clones

Just a guess thow

It's been solved at last!

I kinda feel sad that it's more or less over though. After reading the logs, is it worth trying trying to find those beacons?

I'm guessing the people responsible will be dealt with in the event and the book, both of which I'm looking forward to.

Now to figure out if I'm going to have time before the 29th to fly out there, take a look and get back :)

A good guess. :)

Cheers,

Drew.

It could've been deductive reasoning, it was mentioned somewhere that anacondas could be out-fitted with sidewinders.

[lgtrant]I'm sure no one wants to have the ability to customise a fighter in the hold[/lgtrant]

Anyway, I would think having Canonn or the Rifters guard the site rather then CoR to allow both independent verification and security.
(I should mention that while I dabble in their interests I'm not actually affiliated with either)

Nice excuse.

I was wondering whether to spend my time and effort supporting your efforts in defending Salome, I have now decided to leave your organisation to it as you will obviously have your plan sorted, won't share it with anybody and do not need the help of people from a low level forum where others here actually decoded the message.

I'll just treat it as a show, watch the fight and note that my choice to remain neutral is simply a reaction to CoRs attitude.

What I "fear" (or better going to expect) is, that this is just the beginning or presquabble. I uttered before, that my guess is when Rebecca (the old lady) said "...and we thought the Thargoids would be trouble...." she meant the abyss of mankind's mind partially comes to light - I watched the video with the audiologs a few minutes ago and I feel being confirmed, as in the audiolog the same is being said. That the most evil enemy of mankind is (or can be) mankind itself. On 29th I think we have to make the decision of fighting ourselves or fighting ourselves and helping Salomé reveal the truth.
