THE FORMIDINE RIFT MYSTERY (Part 4)

That would be insane. Did Drew mention any of the other homeworld systems?

Insane maybe, but fun.
I suspect space smurfette will be named (the reason she really placed the bounty on Salomé), and that will anger a lot of her cult^wgroupies^wfollowers.

So ... after 3 years searching among bugs and clues (a lot!), elaborating fantastic and exotic theories, in the end, a not very sophisticated riddle posted on GalNet and the FR Mystery is solved ? In one night ? One miserable human derelict ? That's it ?
COME ON !!!

I know no one here gives a ... carrot , but I am no longer a "Rifter".
i know, I know... good riddance.

Its still possible that whatever they planed to flee from to the dynasty locations shows up at the 29th and "everybody has to make a choice" where to life next...

I imagine a fair mix of Fed scum, Imp scum, Alliance scum and Indy scum, to be honest...

Now we just have to stop them from escaping the bubble so they can burn with the rest of humanity, leaving just scattered colonies of barbaric survivors........

Edit: Ooops, that was my secret plan. Please ignore. :D

So... What about the Conflux, the Gap, the theorised ELW beacons, the Sidewinder, the rest of the Dynasty fleet, the unrecognised ship signature from the FRift base logs, the hyperdictions, the FSD malfunctions and the Anaconda killed around a neutron star?

Are they still out there to find or are they just there in imaginary form?

Yep, I think the same - reads harmless but could mean that surviving in the bubble could be getting REALLY hard for Salomé supporters......... as such consipracy needs the vast majority to take maximum effect, as it did as we know.

*Waves hands in a mysterious way* These are not the POI you are looking for.

Not sure about the 29th, but "Exodus" as the title for 2.4? Perhaps Colonia and megaships outside the bubble will become the only places even vaguely safe to dock.

The smurfette that uses experimental light and sound projection technology to stimulate a series of empathic responses from its audience?

Nothing shady about her. :D

I wonder if our old friends in the Intergalactic Naval Research Arm (INRA) has anything to do with it. ;-)

Are they still Cannon?

I can't remember.

Drew discusses them in his lore page about the Thargoids. He believes everything on that page is still considered canon.

Personally I think this is a safe bet. In fact, I think INRA may have their hands in a lot of what stinks around the galaxy.

+ 1. I'd like to know it, too. Another "missing missing" case?.

All good points!

I'm hoping this will clarify for some.

The name Salome' is the name of a daughter that danced the "Dance of the seven veils" For Herod (Biblical) so that she could deliver the head of John the baptist on a silver platter to her mother. (So I'm presuming the in-game Salome' is attempting the same effect).

The Dance of the seven veils (in its original form) is in fact not a striptease, but a dance to raise awareness and a path to enlightenment. The same can be said of The "Path of souls" which is also a route to "Enlightenment". (The path of souls is also closely linked to colours with the last one being transparent).

Oh and here's an odd one....

The origins of the art of exotic dancing lie in English drama and Viennese opera: Oscar Wilde’s 1893 play Salome, and Richard Strauss’s 1905 opera based on it.

What's the music you hear when docking? The Blue Danube by Johnathon Strauss. I thought it was an in-game easter egg and a nod to 2010 A space Odessey, but I'm beginning to wonder now I've seen the derelict.

I was guessing that it was an anaconda before 2.3 and Drew responded with "good guess" so I think it was something like that...
Well you just gave him a well excuse and no surprise he use it. Idk may be it is a surpise for you, but drew don't know any s* about game. In fact he did not even play it. He just advertises his books with "such things" to community. So far as i can see someone actually fall for it. Over all he use this community and game to advertise his books. Pretty much this.

Open your eyes.
