Really impressive ED video (starlight in station)

Sunlight actually...it's their sun. :)

But yeah, the first time I managed to catch that in a station I was in, it was like, wow, that's cool. That video just makes it all that more dramatic because at the end the sunlight washes over where he's docked.

Fortunately I haven't had a station yet that was lined up perfectly with the sun shining straight in. There'd be lots of accidents leaving that one. Turn your lights on, everyone!

The insane levels of graphical detail in this game, coupled with the beautiful audio make this game totally unparalleled as far as I am concerned.

[Request] All Coriolis stations should be oriented a bit off-axis with the local star.

  • Helps the clueless find the entrance, even in systems with little population/advertising/Imperial banners.
  • Its gorgeous and serves as a reminder of rotation whilst docked.

[Request] Highlight this effect with faint volumetric dust illumination, at least in the more industrial docking hubs with less effective exhaust scrubbing.

Am I the only one who noticed that the shadow of his Hauler was also present. Look at around 1:20 in the video to see it :)

Ive only noticed the sunlight through the docking port since the latest build. a nice touch that if wasn't there would probably go un noticed.
