THE FORMIDINE RIFT MYSTERY (Part 4)

How about a little anagram?

Raan Corsen -> 'A Core SN Ran' or 'Core SN Rana'

SN is short for star name.

Ran is Epsilon Eridani. The closest Eridani star to Sol(heart of the core) and home to two shady minor factions.
- Sublime order of Van Maanen star. An old strange religious sect, with a history back to FE2.
- Independent Flee of Mothership. This one is not listed in INARA. Never seen it before. Might be new in 2.3 as a replacement for the equally strange faction, Worldcraft.
Epsilon Eridani is also on of the systems described in the FE2 Gazzeteer.

Rana(Delta Eridani) is the second closest Eridaini star to Sol. Not much more to say about that one.

I find that very interesting .

An other thought I've got is :

We need a system refering to the Elite lore , and related to DB-IB Fi(0) t-1334 --> Fi(0) is used as the origin point for the Sum(10,7,5,3) and refers to 46 Eridani . Ok . but We still have DB-IB Fi(0) t-1334 which refers to the start of the whole thing.

So :

--> a system of the origin
--> a system in the core world of human buble
--> a system without permit
--> a system with an independant powerfull broadcast mean.

May I suggest : Lave and the sidewinder of Lave Radio ... My guess is that this little drifting and broadcasting sidy is going to meet a lot of people on saturday....

I don't know if Mr Drew will confirm the ending point as he confirmed the starting one ( I doubt cause it would be too easy ) but well.... who dares nothing get nothing...

In the Canonn thread, I provided a detailed report of the Gen Ship, and along with that I also started a discussion on the ship's speed, and how the logs seem to have a mysterious number, possibly a date which is running off of the Earth's clock. If it were true and the ship was using Earth Time to date the logs, then "a few days" for the ship was 84 and a bit years on Earth (time between Log 2 and Log 3). However, the doubt comes in to play where the latter logs have much less Earth Time between them (Where Doctor Munroe dies "two days ago", between Logs 3 and 4, only 30-something years have passed in Earth Time), where they somehow may of slowed down the ship in response to current events. Log 1 and Log 2 have a gap of only 8 years Earth Time, so I assume that either the ship was slowed, or the ship purposefully went slow from the beginning, and came alongside the asteroid matching it's speed and path, let the scientist do work, then accelerated to reach the speeds it would of been going, if the asteroid wasn't of interest.

Let's not rule out that the ship might of been doing any number of scientific studies, and reporting back to Earth some how. It does have a huge transmitter on its nose.

Edit;

My main posts where I discuss my findings and theories on the speed are Here and Here.

The huge dish looks like a receiver not a transmitter.

I don't recall if this has been remarked on or discussed ... if so, just ignore me.

On my way to Colonia to drop off some Galactic Guides I decided to make a detour through the Conflux. Pulled into the system with the "Conflux Beta Site" and immediately noticed not one but TWO unregistered comm beacons.

Is this normal?

It will be ironic if there was no opposition to Salome who show up.
At this point, I'm not sure why they'd bother, given the overwhelming numbers of people wanting to support her.

I suspect they will be showing up saying they are there to support her - or even more amusingly have already infiltrated COR and are in one of their close defence wings.

It was like this when I was there last time, a couple of weeks ago and I think I remember someone talking about this. I guess its a bug...

Seems like a good reason for a bunch of independents to gate crash the party then. Social disobedience being fun and all...

Z...

Meh.
Not worth the time and effort.

As always with Kahina, she's simply going to get a lot of people killed so she can be the center of attention.
Then she'll give another one of her tedious, long-windef, self-aggrandizing speeches before flouncing out and leaving someone else to take responsibility for cleaning up the mess she's made.

What if she dies and some act of god brings her back to life (again)? I know Drew has said Ironman and all but still...

Same with Hawkin's Gap too, I traveled there last night. I'm considering having a gander around to see if there is anything else here, the "fleet of Anaconda's" mentioned in the log's for example. No idea where to start though, first time here with no clues to follow. Is there anything similar to the R,R line used for the Rift related to Hawkin's?
