Q = A letter of the Alphabet
Que = An abbreviation of "Quebec"
Cue = When an actor is supposed to say his or her lines
Queue = A waiting line or sequence
Sorry ... I should be used to seeing all of these used in place of "queue" by now![]()
Que = Spanish for what does that mean?
But it's not a dish, it's a shield, which is approximately the same diameter as the largest habitat ring protecting it from objects the spacecraft is ploughing into.
Not quite that binary. I want to know the reveal so want them to live long enough for that, but I have been given no reason to side with CoR to protect them either.
So from my perspective I'm more likely to remain neutral and being constantly interdicted by CoR as not being part of the blind faith cult doesn't strike me as enjoyable gameplay.
Who knows what my position will be post reveal. It's very unlikely I will suddenly decide they all need to be killed, but I may not consider them heros who need protecting either. I don't know the reveal so can't say.
About the only thing I think I can guarantee is that if CoR keep interdicting me going about my lawful business as if they have some god given authority over me I won't be happy with that, and that would make it more likely I would watch the fireworks as a neutral. And if they start shooting at me they will have made the choice on sides.
It may be difficult for them, but currently I'm not their enemy and likely won't be unless they make themselves mine.
I plan to KOS any CoR that interdicts me. Choosing to want her to live long enough to get her messaage out does not mean I cboosse to side with CoR.
Z...

But you would not be siding with CoR. You would be siding with Salomé. If you want her to reveal, then are you prepared to defend her? to face the rebuy screen in doing that.

Rebuy does not concern me in the slightest, but siding with Salome is siding with CoR and wanting her to live long enough to make the reveal is not the same as making enemies in trying to defend her.
For that I need a reason I believe in, and for all I know currently her reveal will have about as much importance to me as what she had for breakfast on the 29th.
Blind faith is something I don't do and if the reveal was "oh look, the imps have a secret base" or "oh look, Sirius have been keeping secrets to make profit" I would likely say thanks for the info, but I'm not shocked and that's why I'm independent.
Inra fighting a secret war to protect humanity? I'd probably sign up to help.
A shadow government running the bubble to keep us controlled for our true alien overlords, I'd deploy hardpoints to defend her, fight them and be on a rebuy.
For the hundreds of other theories I would react as appropriate.
But as I don't know, I can't judge, and I won't be fighting for or against whether she should have had toast, fruit or a full English until I do.
Well actually I'd always support the full English if I'm totally honest, but don't know if that was an option.

I have no wish to side with CoR or Salome, but equally I have no wish for Salome to die.
However, getting into a firefight for the sake of allowing Salome to make public whatever information she holds is not something I have any motivation to do - especially given Salome's previous failure to handover any data regarding the Rift mystery.
Actually, given that the ONLY time she's told people anything concrete was when she thought she was about to die, maybe having someone hold a gun to her head IS the best way to discover what she knows.
And again I can't rep you.

One of the big difficulties with this event is going to be establishing who is on who's side. There will be chaos, confusion and carnage. I'm expecting it to be total bananas, like an ED Bugsy Malone with FSD Interdictors and Plasma Accelerators (and I hope it is just as much fun!!). How would you know whether the person interdicting you is a member of CoR, SDC, The Code, PalCon or just another interested lone wolf pilot? How will they know that you are neutral? I would suggest that best way of being neutral and avoiding trouble, whilst still being there to witness events, would be to set up a 800+m/s iEagle and to not carry either an FSD interdictor or any weapons. Even then, keeping up with the protagonists' progress would be a challenge, assuming they make it out of 46 Eridani alive in the first place!That made me chuckle and wouldn't blame you for it. Interdiction is a violent action to force you to do what they want.
I will point out their error to them politely first though as I can understand the tactic of trying to deny their enemies the area, but that's no excuse to hit neutrals.
Kind of get the feeling my choice may end up being "none of the above" if CoR and their allies act as I expect, but will give them a chance to prove me wrong.

"Que = Espanol por Que?"?
At bit of a loose end here waiting for the servers to come back. Was in the middle of some system scanning when I got the warning. Walked the dog, had a cuppa. Need to do the FRift bases & get back to Base Camp. I'll never get back for Saturday at this rate.
In order to just observe, let alone be involved, I need to be planning ahead, building a ship, engineering it and whatever else might be necessary.
That's what I think is really good about it, as a contrasting view. It will take thought. However, if you 'die' what do you really lose? That's why I am trying to encourage people to just give it a go, even if you are not in that 'subset'.
Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me!
