and let's hope that their SP/campaign is more like BFV/BF2's whole-map open gameplay instead of BF:BC2/BF3 narrow-corridor linear story style.

I was hoping for Vietnam era to be honest, this looks like generic WWII game/movie number 56978 that we played/seen dozens of time already. And of course there will be zombies because WWII zombies are so fresh and unique em right?
Looking forward to MP tho, because no matter how they mess up the setting wont let for adhd vertical jet packs and UAV online missile combo wall hack vision super strikes.

If this one flop it might be the end of those reskinned CoD`s that we keep getting year after year. The situation with the last space warfare one must be pretty bad if they come up with CoD WII this fast.
Also, I hope they will come up with some memorable characters for the campaign - for years we get those generic grunts that no one cares about. Literally, I only remember John Price and Kevin Spacey. Well, how could you forget Kevin?

First Call of Duty I've been excited for since COD:2.

I never really play games like COD or BF for the multiplayer, too many foul mouthed 14yr olds on there screaming abuse. But a good 7-8hr single player campaign will make my day

I've always liked the COD solo game mode...
I get the frustration with the multiplayer, but the solo is good (didn't try the last 2 ones though)

I had and loved medal of honour allied assault, call of duty 1, 2 and 4 on PC, cod 3 all the way through to ghosts on Xbox, i sold cod ghost after just one day, i have not returned to cod since (prefering BF and op flahpoint cold war crisis and the Arma games, all of which i enjoyed anyway) but 2017, depending on the MP beta gameplay, will likely see me return to the church of cod.

Vietnam ? One does wonder why. Seriously though, it would be good if they did, i remember enjoying the Vietcong games, made by a Czech company that i forget, they were very good, BFBC2 did Vietnam DLC, but dice is Swedish, i guess for the American COD developers, the audience especially in the USA is larger and they don't want to risk controversy.

So some new info - despite name WW2 game wont feature historical markings like swastika anymore coz ppl cried on the internet and also in MP axis players will be able to play as afro americans... And I`m sure they will throw some "experimental weapons" in just like in Battlefield 1 and all feeling of WW2 setting goes down the drain. I know its just the game but come on! [down][down][down]

I'm a genuine lefty but this SJW stuff is irritating, playing as women (non Soviet) and as Black German soldiers in WW2 ? It's just silly now, i'm still annoyed that BF1 (WW1) has no many fast firing weapons, especially the SMGs.
