So what's happening with this server thing then. 8 hours is far too long for a server reboot when you've just done a two hour update. come on... :/ take when you can't play a game you payed £40 for. [down]

To anyone who whines about such things, Ubisoft sold Season Passes to Wildlands knowing that if you had a Steam Wildlands and a Uplay Season Pass they didn't work together. And they don't care. So whilst FD might make you wait to play a game you paid £40 for, at least they aren't Ubisoft who make you pay £30 for nothing at all.

(also how the heck did you pay £40 for a game constantly on sale?)

Really good to see regular client updates.
Keep up the good work.

[EDIT FROM CLOSED THREAD]

I would like to ask if the Devs have any plans to add the ability for the helm to offer a % of his income during a Multi-crew session. With a max allowed %.
I ask this because I enjoy the multi-crew aspect of the update but... I find that when I set up Mining, Piracy or Smuggling sessions that the rewards for the 1 or 2 crew that join me are far far to low compared to what time and effort they would put in. Well maybe not the sitting there hoping we dont get scanned in smuggling time and effort aspect but the piracy and Mining in a Hazres can be quite some work for the fighters.

This wouldn't be prestidigitation of the 5% of Mining and trade from nothing amounts, or the flabbergasting prestidigitation of 80% from nothing combat amount, it would be deducted from the actual profits of the Helm.

Anyway, any plans or thoughts ?

BL1P,
oV (live long and prosper)

Hello, PC here.

Multi-Crew is breaking wings, (as well as being generally "connection caput"), and there's a HUGE event happening in 3 days.

Are any of these fixes going to help correct these debilitating errors?

I used to think the customer service was awesome with these guys, but then they kept pushing out more and more broken things, and I don't think customer service has the ability to fix all this mess.

Multi-Crew is great when it works, but he connection dropping every time you join a crew, or try to jump in a fighter is just ridiculous.

Since MC launched, my game app has a memory leak, and every time I try to shut down properly, the game hogs 100% of my PC's resources, and I am forced to CTRL/ALT/DEL to close it.
(I have an uber powerful machine with lots of resources, game now crashes using ALL the resources)(I saw the crash report screen twice in 2 years. Since MC, I've seen it about a dozen times)

I don't actually expect FDEV to answer, but had to do my part as the paying customer and ask. This is listed as "the official means" to contact FDEV, so here I sit...

IDK what the certification process involves or how long it takes. If I were to guess, I'd say that they wouldn't submit for certification until they are satisfied with the hot fixes enough that they could submit without having to be concerned about further changes.

it takes a week to 10 days.

So with that being said, either Xbox will get the patch fixing the main menu bug in the next week OR FD is delaying a game fix patch to do all of these little patches at the same time.

(probably to save themselves $ on having to do multiple patch releases through MS to fix their screw up)

I just want to know when to expect the fix and knowing what's been sent for Certification will give us a good idea of it.

Stop giving silly windows. Has it been sent for certification or not and what day was it sent?

Yeah, we are all speculating, at this point, in lieu of a clear and specific response. Who knows, maybe a patch fixing the main menu bug has been submitted already.

It makes no sense why they can't give a reply that stops the speculation.

This is silly.

I would assume that they are dealing with unknowns themselves, and are hesitant to say anything that may turn out to be overly optimistic at best and untrue at worst.

Did the patch go to certification?

If it did, when did it go?

These aren't questions with uncertain answers.

These are black and white facts without unknowns.

Stop jumping through hoops to let them off the hook. I don't get why you guys insist on doing that.
