Old lore stuff

So after buying into the standard beta I realised I still have this book of short stories that came with my old long gone copy of Frontier: Elite 2.

With its linked stories of some fed navy officer, an empire spy and my personal favourite. A cyborg who owns half a space station and plans to fit it with engines.

So how much of all this old lore is still applicable? Have we even seen much lore written for ED?
Might we see Jaques the cyborg flying about in his space station as a bit of an easter egg?

So is there any wiki or place where we can check out current lore?

Why yes http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/Fiction

That was my favorite from the Frontiers book too. Frontier are making the fiction a big part of the new Elite experience and the fiction packages were pledges offered during the original Kickstarter. The books tie in with the new game's "Fiction bible" and the team are injecting elements from the stories into the game itself.

You can already purchase a whole bunch of novels, just try searching "Elite Dangerous" on Amazon

A metric **** ton of novels eh?

But no simple website with lore info available?

Not at the moment. The produced canon that assisted the fiction writers is not currently available for the general public.

You can submit specific questions to Frontier, or ask us (the writers), but bear in mind we are under contract.
